Shit this can't be happening to me right now. I'm pregnant. But how could I be pregnant. Then I remembered last month I had sex with a complete stranger.
I needed some air so I went for a walk on the beach. I must have not been paying attention because I bumped into someone.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention."
"No its ok." I remember that voice. He stands up and looks at me, oh no not him.
"Hey you again."
"Yea me again."
"I been hoping I would see you again. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to dinner with me sometime." I didn't know what to do should I go and maybe tell him I'm pregnant or should I just say no and keep the baby myself. The baby should have a chance to get to know his father.
"Ok I'll go."
"Great I will pick you up at eight."
"ok." Faith works in in mysterious way.

I hear the door bell ring right on time.
"Who is it."
"It's me Nathan." I open the door.
"Hi"
"Hi, you ready to go?"
"Yea. Were are we going any way?"
"Burger King." I just looked at him like what. "I'm just joking were going to Huynh."
"Oh my God I love Vietnamese food."
At Huynh's
"Hi what can I get for you today."
"Can I have the Com Gà Nuong." chargrilled chicken and special house rice.
"And for your drink."
"Ðá Chanh" fresh squeezed lemonade
"And for you sir."
"I'll have the same thing but can I have Trà Ðá for my drink." iced tea
"Ok will that be all."
"Yes, thank you."
"No problem."
We talk for a long time. It was almost like we know each other our whole lives. It was just so easy to just to talk to each other. One thing that we have in common is we like red, we like Vietnamese food and that we were both adopted.
"Oh I almost forgot I have to tell you something."
"What?"
"I'm pregnant."
"What, but how? Will I know how but are you sure."
" Yes. And yes it's yours."
"How could you be sure its mine you had just broke up with your boyfriend when we meet it could still be his."
"We hadn't had sex in mouths and that was why I was so ok with having sex with someone I just met because its been so long."
"Ok well I just want you to know I will do whatever I can to help with the baby."
"Really?"
"Yea, I what this baby to know his or hers mother and father."
