We walked into the building, and I was a bit surprised that Jimin wouldn't let go of my hand. He wasn't nervous, was he? Maybe it was just Jimin being...Jimin.

As we rounded the corner, Jimin stopped me. I turned to him. "What now?"

"I just want you to know, if those people are hateful like everyone else," he
warned, "I'm going to kill somebody, and it'll probably be you."

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "After all of this time, all that we've been through, you're gonna kill your girlfriend first? I'd rather talk to MissingYou952."

Jimin paused for a second. Then he grinned and giggled like a child. "That was me,
(Y/N)!"

I gasped, "Huh? But– but why didn't you tell me it was you? Why did you even send me a friend request if you didn't 'know' me?"

"I was lonely without you, so I thought why not talk to someone else for the time being," he explained.

"Well, why did you call this 'someone else' cute?"

"We're still a thing, babe, it's just that...if a person's cute, I'm going to tell them. They should know."

"Oh, really?, " I smirked, raising my eyebrow, "Then why don't you say anything to Jungkook?"

I began to laugh as he grabbed my wrist and mumbled to himself, heading for the ice cream shop.

Once we entered, we both shivered from the sudden temperature change. It actually felt good. No one was at the counter; I began to feel a bit worried. Am I too early? Why was the door unlocked..?

"(Y/N)?"

I looked back at the counter. I nearly died when I saw who it was.

"Erin!?"

~+~

"Just hear me out, (Y/N), I'm really sorry," Erin pleaded as I tried to escape Jimin's grasp, holding me down on the chair.

"Erin—"

"Listen." I froze at Jimin's voice. I felt his breath on my neck as he leaned down to my ear and whispered, "I know you don't want to hear any explanations from anyone, but just get it over with, okay?"

"What do you have to say...," I sighed, giving in. She smiled in relief when she saw that she had my attention. "Oh my gosh, where do I start? I have so much to tell you, girlfr—"

"Wait. Erin, we're not automatically 'girlfriends' again and you know that. You've lost my trust, and it'll be hard to get it back," I reminded her.

She nodded. "That's one of the things I wanted to talk to you about. Peer pressure got the best of me, okay, and I thought if I didn't follow what everyone else was
doing—"

"You—"

My mouth shut once I felt Jimin squeeze my arms. Why won't my brain just let me listen? Is it still stuck on what happened in the past?

"Basically," Erin continued after a deep breath, "all I want you to know is that I am a horrible friend, well 'friend'," she said, making quotation marks with her fingers.

"I stabbed both you and Jimin in the back—not in the front—and I-I...I'm sorry," she finished, looking at me with hopeful eyes. "Is it possibly that you could for– forgive me?"

Could I?

I don't think so.
