What happened last night? Meecasa thought to herself. How did everything just spiral out of control? And Christos was there? My boss? Or boss to be? I don't even know. I don't even know if I got the job yet! This is bad. Everything is just bad. I can't believe I almost got raped last night. How could I have been so careless? And he saw me? Christos saw me????? I wonder why I care so much about what he thinks, it's not like we are going to see each other ever again.
"Where the hell were you?" Ness asked irritatingly. I could tell she was upset. I couldn't blame her though. I really shouldn't have gone out last night. It blew up in my face and I looked like a fool in front of Christos. He is very attractive. I like him! How can I like him when I don't even know him?
"I'm sorry, I didn't expect to out so late", I said.
"What happened?" Nessie asked. I hate that she knows me so well. I hate that she can see through me. I hate that she knows everything that is up with me.
"Nothing, Nessie. Drop it and let it go!" I snap at her.
"Meecasa, please tell me. I am here for you, I promise you. What's wrong?" She asked caringly.
"I don't know, Nessie. I was so careless, I really shouldn't have gone out. I almost got raped." I didn't realize I was in tears as I was talking to her. "It was very scary, I thought I was really going to be a victim. I didn't think anything of my dancing. I didn't think it was going to get the wrong type of attention. I am so glad Christos was there, he saved me Nessie. He did! I don't even know how it happened. I can still feel the nasty guys hot breath on my neck. I hate myself. I feel so disgusted. I don't know what to do about it. Nessie, I don't know what to do."
"Aww my baby, I am so glad you're okay. I am so glad you're fine. I am so happy Christos was there. I am so happy you weren't a victim. Don't worry about it okay? Don't worry about any of it, you're home and you're safe. Just promise me this, don't go to dodgy places alone. Better yet, don't go into dodgy places AT ALL."
"You're right Nessie. I am so sorry. I am so so sorry."
"That's okay, I am just so glad you're safe."

Christo's POV
That deal needs to be signed! I can't be going to places I don't have to be in. Going to the club to discuss details of a mining business ?? Completely absurd. How on earth were they going to understand and hear each other over the blasting music?
Who needed such a distraction ? I don't have that kind of time for such.
And he knew, Christos knew he was distracted. He wasn't even listening in on the meeting. He was captivated by a wild mane, she looked absolutely stunning and free of life. He missed that about himself, he missed when he had that much freedom. But he had to step up to cater for his family.
She looked so familiar, he thought. He had seen her before but he couldn't really tell where because she was too far away from him. All he wanted was to ditch the meeting and go dance with her.
He smiled knowing that was an odd thought, he hadn't danced in forever. But something about her, something about her made him want to have fun again. Made him want to be free again. He was so uptight, his sister said that numerous times. He didn't think he was though.
He glanced away for a second, only because his business partners required his attention. For what? He didn't really care. When he glanced back, he saw her push a gnarly man out of the way and ran out. And then he saw the man go after her. At that point, he didn't care about the deal anymore. He just needed to know she was okay.It took him forever to leave because it was at that moment others decided to head towards the door. He finally got out and ran around the corner, what he saw sickened him to this stomach. He wanted to kill him. He wanted to kill him for hurting her. It took everything in him not too. What was wrong with him? He always regarded himself as a cool headed guy.
He finally got the chance to look at her closely and he realized that he had seen her before.
All he wanted was for her to get home safe, and he did just that.*********************************************************************************************
"Lance, come into my office" Christos said to his hiring manager over the intercom.
"I'm here" Lance said. He was an old man, Christos had nothing but respect for him. He is practically family to him. But he needed to know why he doesn't have a PA yet. Especially because he was travelling soon.
"I know you have a set selective process, but Lance I need to know why I don't have a PA yet. It has been weeks, and you can't tell me there isn't at least ONE suitable candidate for the job."
"There is,. But I think she needs to be screened more."
"Do you think she is more than capable to handle assignments given to her?"
"Yes,. I do. But I also know she needs to receive adequate training before she can be assigned to you. Perhaps, I'll recommend you take one of our already trained staff along with you."
Christos sighed. He really wanted to snap at him but he couldn't. Lance had been with him during the times he thought he was going to lose everything. And there were a lot of times like that. "Lance, if I wanted that I wouldn't have authorized the search for a personal assistant. You think she is capable already, I trust your judgement. Hire her."
"Right away.". Lance replied and left the room.
Christos couldn't stop thinking about the girl from the club. He knew he saw her in the office. She bumped into him. Ha! Feisty little thing, she is! He didn't mind that. However he knew he could never trust her though, he could never trust any of these girls. Majority of them are usually always after his money. He has fallen for that a number of times, choosing to trust. Choosing to believe they weren't just gold-diggers but he had been wrong. The one thing he hated more than anything was being played, and that is exactly what had happened to him. But that is the past, he has learned his lesson. What made him feel extremely comfortable was the fact that he knew he would never see her again.

"NESSIE!!!!!!!! I GOT THE JOB! I GOT THE JOB!!!" Meecasa esctatically screamed. She couldn't believe it. She really couldn't believe it. She honestly gave up hope, and then she got the call from Mr. Freeman. She was sure she wasn't going to get it. "NESSSIEEEEEE, WHERE ARE YOU??"
"What, what, what? I'm here! What is it?" Nessie asked, worriedly.
"I GOT THE JOB NESSIE! I. GOT. THE. JOB." Meecasa practically screamed it to her.
"Yayy!!!! I am so happy for you baby. We need to pick out work outfits for you. I know you'd need me for that haha"
"You know that I will. You know that I will always need you and love you. I am so glad you're in my life. I thank God I got the job and I thank you too. But..." Meecasa trailed out sadly.
"But what, Mee Mee? What's wrong?"
"I'll be working with Christos. I'll be his personal assistant"
"Okay, I don't see anything wrong with that"
"He saw me, that night at the club. What if he sees me again and fires me instantly?"
"Sweetie, don't worry about that. I don't think that would happen. You got this job all on your own, just take things one step at a time okay?"
"Okay." Nessie was right and Meecasa knew that. She shouldn't worry about it at all. Everything would be just fine.
