* A Few hours later— Still at the party *

"Y-- y-you are alllll the best friends that Johnny boy, here," Slurring a tad, Mick said, as he grabs John, to pull him close, then proceeds to put his arm around John.

John's cheeks become red, as he knows that Mick has had a bit 'too' much to drink.

"Johnny and I, could have ever been blessed with... And, to be in your presences...s-ss. Presences, is a true honor... Especially our dear old friends, sitting o-over t-there," Mick said, as he continues to slowly slur his words, while pointing to Stevie, Lindsey and Chris, who are sitting in the corner.

"Hey! Nobody puts our babies in the corner," Mick jokes, as he starts to uncontrollably laugh at his own joke, into the microphone— at the fact that he made the famous reference to 'Dirty Dancing'— while pointing to Stevie and Christine.

Lindsey knows that Mick is inebriated, as he ls his hands up, and laughs at his expense.

"I'm sorry, Mick.. I told them that a lady never sits in the corner, but what can ya do?!" He jests, while shrugging his shoulders.

"Ha! Now there, ladies and gentlemen.. Is— Is a true man... Fleetwood Mac's lead guitarist, ladies and gents.. Lindsey Buckingham, everybody!!" Mick said, as John gives him a small smile, and politely grabs the microphone away from Mick.

"We are all so very very thrilled that you all came to welcome us into this new chapter of our lives. Who would have ever dreamt of this... All of the five members of Fleetwood Mac living within a mile of each other," John said, as the crowd erupts in light laughter.

"But— We're so very glad that we are, where we are at this point in our lives. And... I.. uh.. I want to make a little announcement to everyone," John said as he looks into Christine's direction; and very smoothly gets Christine's attention to walk up on stage.

Christine and John know each other so well, that when John caught Chris's attention— He did so without uttering a word.

"Christine and I, well... We're kind of back together," John announces as he pulls Christine close to him, and wraps his arms around her waist.

"We're getting married— Again," John said, as everyone gasps, and then claps in applause.

"Just when I thought I could live without him— After many, many years of being apart... I-I realized I can live without him.. But I don't want to... Johnny's always been my best friend—" Christine's voice trails off, as she glances to Stevie.

"No offense, Stevie!" Christine says, as Stevie nods her head and chuckles.

"And sometimes when things are meant to be.. They're truly meant to be.. It just takes bloody forever to realize that the thing you've always loved— The person that you've always loved— has always been right in front of you the whole damn time," Christine exclaims, as John pulls her even closer, then dips her down for a very, very deep, passionate, and long kiss.

"Woo-woooooo!" Stevie whistles out, as she's now sitting on Lindsey's lap. He kisses the back of her neck, while holding onto one of her hands.

Lindsey presses his lips down on Stevie's hand, and gently kisses it. "It's really beautiful, isn't it? Johnny and Chris's love for each other?" Stevie smiles brightly at Lindsey, as she turns her body towards him.
