CHAPTER 6

..Recap:- Lost
..I wiped away my tears again but it again started to flow. I was crying horribly as till now I couldn't find my way out. Manik didn't returned nor did I sense any sign that he was searching for me. I was pacing here and there. I don't know where I'm right now and how to get out of this. Can't even ask for help as I'm afraid. I saw a bench nearby and thumped there not knowing what to do next.
.." God please help me ( I mumbled staring up in the sky but then heard an unknown voice from the other side )
.." We'll help you baby. Say how exactly we can help you ( I gulped as I saw three guys smirking at me. Oh god not this please. I immediately walked away from there but those shameless creatures were following me )
.." Hy bhagwan! ( I freaked out and started running and they speeded up themselves. To my badluck the sun got set and it was going to be dark soon and to top that up there was no one to help me out)
..I ran until my feet got collided with a stone and I fell hard. I shouted in pain as the stiches which I got few days ago got a stinging sensation. Before I could run again they had surrounded me already.
.." Let me go ( I mumbled but instead they started laughing and started to touch me here and there. Tears filled up in my eyes and I shouted shoving them away but in vain )
.." You bastards! ( Suddenly I heard a voice and turned to see a lady glaring at those boys. She took her umbrella and started hitting them hard while I ran and hid behind her )
..Lady:- Take this morons! Shameless creatures! ( She beated them until they got vanished from there. She turned to me and cupped my face trying to soothe me while I sniffed and held her tightly )
.." I'm..I'm lost ( I mumbled while she frown at me. She glanced at me from head to toe and smiled)
..Lady:- Hindustani hoh? ( She asked and I nodded. What a relief. Thank you god for sending her )
.." Haa but aapko kaise pata ( I asked softly and she giggled hard )
..Lady:- Itna sundar laal anarkaki pehna hai. Bholi shi surat. Nayi nayi sadi hue hai? Honeymoon par aayi hoh? ( She asked while I stood blank. What did she asked just now. Now what to say to her.)
.." Yeah. Mere husband naraz hoh gaye thai aur chale gaye. Then I got lost ( I told her everything except that he wasn't my husband actually. She nodded and started walking with me )
..Lady:- Do one thing abhi mai jaha reh rahi hu waha chalo. Then we'll think aage kya karenge. By the way I'm Kashmira..bachpan sai yahi reh rahi hu samjho
.." Nandini ( I mumbled and she smiled. Then she started a story to shove away my attention from the thing happened recently while I started to concentrate on her )
..I smiled to the widest as Kashmira brought exactly where I and Manik were living. Truly I felt she's a angel for me. I turned to her and hugged her tightly.
.." Yeh wahi hotel hai jaha mai aur mere husband reh rahe hai. Thanks a lot I mean ( I mumbled while she frown again and bursted out in laugh )
..Kashmira:- What a co incidence. Actually mai bhi business kai silsile mai yaha hu. Anyway let's go inside ( she exclaimed and we entered inside. As we entered my first gaze fell on him)
..He was sitting on bench with a low head while there were cops around him. Maybe he's searching for me or maybe I'm expecting too much. He shouldn't have left me alone. That's his fault. I know I had made him angry but how can he just leave me alone. If kashmira wouldn't had been there then..
.." Manik! ( I called with a cold voice while he shot up his head and gazed at me. A smile of relief crept on his face as he saw after long hour's but I was mad on him )
..Taking the fast steps he was about to take me when Kashmira blocked his way out. He looked pissed off while Kashmira gave a glare.
..Kashmira:- What kind of husband are you! Apni biwi koh koi yeshe akela chodta hai ( She shouted while made a confused and shock face. He looked at me and I turned away from him )
..Kashmira:- Thank god I was there warna woh teen gunde pata nahi tuhmare biwi kai saath kya karte. So reckless and so careless you're ( She scolded while Manik was again shocked. He gazed at me with apologetic eyes while I was in tears )
..Manik:- I know I was careless. It's just..anyway thank you so much. Thanks a lot. You saved her. She really means a lot to me. And I promise aage sai yesha kuch nahi hoga ( He mumbled while she nodded looking at us)
..Kashmira:- You better stick by you're words. Nandini take care of yous. Yeh mera card hai. I'll be shifting to India soon. Hope hum dobara milenge hmm ( She smiled while I nodded and she left. I looked at him who was looking down by now. I literally pushed him away and walked while he didn't tried to stop me )
..Changing my dress I was leaning by the window staring at the stars when felt his hands wrapping my waist. He tried to pull me closer but I shoved him away and walked only to get stopped by him )
..Manik:- Nandini please listen. Mai aaya thaa waha par tum nahi thi waha yaar. I searched you. Searched you like a mad. You even know I scared I was! Ek ek second mushkil thaa mere liye ( He muttered holding my hands )
.." Toh phir akele chod kar hi kyu gaye. Manik itna ghussa kyu hai tuhmare andar! I was just trying to enjoy but you. You shouted at me and then just left! Pata hai kitna bura haal hua tha mera. If kashmira wouldn't had been there naa toh sayad woh gunde ( I mumbled while he pulled me closer and cupped my face harshly )
..Manik:- No one has the right to touch my Nandini you get that! I know I'm at fault and ishke liye tum joh punishment dogi I'm ready to bear but please aage sai never ever leave by my side ( He ordered while I sighed looking at him)
.." I'll not but you've to promise. Promise me that you'll reduce you're anger. If you'll not then mai chali jaungi hamesha kai liye ( I almost threatened him cause I know it's the only way he will understand. I don't know what's the feeling going inside him but I know he's possessive about me)
..Manik:- Don't..don't you dare! I promise ( He muttered and I nodded looking down. He scooped me in his arms and went to sit near the window with me cuddling inside him)
..Manik:- I..I spoiled you're view. You continue looking at the stars and sleep. I'm there..I'm always there beside you ( He whispered while I smiled and kissed his cheeks. He wrapped the blanket around us and I closed my eyes snuggling close to him. It was so warmth and cozy that it felt I'll melt out soon inside him )
.." Umm..Manik ( I mumbled with sleepy voice as sun's ray hit my face. Rubbing my eyes I woke and found myself tucked in the bed. I glanced around and he wasn't there.
.." Manik ( I mumbled lazily checking the washroom but he wasn't there )
.." Manik..where are you ( I mumbled lazily as roamed around searching for him but got no sign of him. I frown and came down to the living room but he wasn't there too )
.." Uffo Manik! Where are you?! ( I mumbled angrily and thumped my feets and very next moment he appeared before me )
..Manik:- Aree I was preparing you're breakfast. Why you're up so early. Go and take rest ( He mumbled angrily as he pointed upstairs while I pouted and went into his embrace )
.." Nai..mujhe nahi jana. Mujhe tuhmare hatho ka strawberry custard khana hai. Just the way you make. And tumne promise kiya thaa we'll go for shopping! Kab jayenge? Agle janam mai ( I mumbled as I looked at him and he smiled ruffling my hair )
..Manik:- As you say madam. Par pehle fresh toh hoh jao. Go go ( He said and I immediately ran upstairs as I was too excited for the shopping. Girl things you know )
.." Manik jaldi! ( I mumbled as he was feeding me the custard. He kept the custard aside and frown )
..Manik:- What jaldi? Malls gayab nahi hone wale. Relax ( He scolded and again started feeding while I made a horrible look and ate silently as I knew I'll never win the debate over him )
..Excitement hit me hard and I started running here and there in the mall. Manik freaked out as I was holding his hand. I paced here and there for the clothes while he was ready to faint.
..Manik:- Nandini relax yaar ( He mumbled and I giggled seing his condition. Poor him but what to do )
..Manik was busy looking something for himself while I was busy on my own stuffs when someone tapped me from behind. I turned and saw a sales girl smiling at me
.." Yes? ( I smiled looking at her and she continued)
..Girl:- Nandini? You remember me? I'm Geeta. Last time jab tum aayi thi apne husband kai saath. We had hanged out a lot ( She exclaimed and I frown in confusion )
.." Sorry but sayad mai woh nahi because mai first time aayi hu yaha ( I mumbled and she chuckled )
..Geeta:- You're joking right? Of course it's you! Aryaman kaha hai! That shy boy. Call him ( She demanded and my head started spinning )
.." Dekho maine kaha naa. Yeah mai apne husband kai saath hu par koi Aryaman nahi hai. See woh joh waha hai. He's my husband ( I mumbled pointing towards Manik. God I don't know but I love it when I refer Manik as my husband )
..Geeta:- Strange! You're playing prank with me right? Nandu I know Aryaman and you were like poles apart or cold war or something. But this? ( She shrugged and this time I lost my control)
.." Dekho last time bol rahi hu. I don't know Aryaman kaun hai. Manik is my husband I only know that and you get it on you're head that mai apne husband Manik sai bahut pyaar karti hu unki respect karti hu. Other than him I don't know anyone nor I want to know ( I freaked out and left. Pheww so finally I accepted. I accepted my feelings for Manik. So now that I've accepted my feelings for Manik I don't want to know anything else)
.." Manik..let's go ( I mumbled as I went near him. He cupped my face as tears were filled inside my eyes )
..Manik:- Hey? What happened? ( He asked softly and I nodded in no mumbling nothing. I went into his embrace which was my favorite place )
.." Woh I'm feeling hungry aur mujhe kuch Indian khana hai. Chalo na please ( I lied and heard his giggle. He broke the hug and nodded walking with me while I held him tight. Should I tell him about Geeta and Aryaman thing? )
