CHAPTER 2

..Recap:- Introduction
..I stirred in sleep as I felt a sharp pain in my arm.Fluttering my eyes I opened and saw him rubbing the cotton dipped in antiseptic liquid around my wounded arm which was obviously given by him in the morning. I had went out without his permission and he had not accepted that all. We were arguing a bit and he had pushed me away resulting my arm hit the staircase.
..With a jerk I pulled away my hand from him and he looked hurt. He tried to touch me again but then I stood up turning away from him.
..Manik:- Listen I shouldn't had done that. Yeh medicine laga loh..it must be paining ( He whispered while I blinked my eyes in bit shock. If he was feeling guilty or something he should apologize to me. He can't say a mere sorry also )
.." Please mujhe akela chod doh. ( I mumbled with slight irritated voice. Next moment he pulled me with jerk and I collided with his chest. I gulped as he had anger filled in his eyes )
..Manik:- Ek baar bola na laga loh toh laga loh. I don't like repeating myself ( He gritted his teethes while I nodded as I knew debate would be of no use. I didn't had any choice. I always had to follow his command )
.." I'll apply but please mujhe bahar jana hai. It's been a week. I feel so suffocate mai mar jaungi aese toh ( I muttered angrily but he didn't responded. He just kept the first aid box on my hand and left. Now I feel like I'm trapped now.)
..It was evening by now and as usually I was home alone. I was just sitting in hall and watching a random channel when door bell rang. Thinking of him I immediately switched it off and ran upstairs. But it was someone else. A woman walked inside. She looked polite and calm. I frown and came down and she stared at me.
.." I'm Nandini ( I mumbled as she asked my introduction. After listening to my name she frown a bit with confused look but then eventually a smile crept on her face. By now I had guessed she must be his sister or friend. So classy and elegent. She gives major goals for every independent and beautiful woman out there )
.." Nandini. Nice to meet you. Jane nai bataya tuhmare bare mein. Well I'm Nyonica Malhotra. I'm Manik's mother fortunately and unfortunately ( She mumbled and my jaw dropped. She doesn't look like mother at all. Not his definitely. I mean she's young. Is it the evolution of make-up or something )
..Nyonica:- I guess mera beta ish waqt yaha nahi hai. I had came to meet him. Woh khud kabhi aata nahi so mujhe hi aana padta hai dear ( She shrugged and I smiled weakly. One more figure appeared from behind and it was guy. He looked cute like a small baby but his outfit was no less than a classy business man )
..Nyonica:- Yeh mera chota beta Nikhil. You can call him Nikh. Bolta kam aur karta jyada hai. Just like his big brother you know. Bas itna difference hai ki he's calm as water and Manik is so aggressive as volcano. I'm sure ushke ghusse ka ehsaas hoh chuka hoga tuhme ( She chuckled and I again gave a weak smile. Of course I know his anger in fact I'm used to his anger now )
..Nikh:- Bhai must be in off..off..office. Mom hu..hu..hum waha jake mil sakte hai ( He said and I frown. Is there some problem with this guy. )
..Nyonica:- Actually ishka yahi problem hai. He's delicate like baby aur darta bhi hai kaafi so haqlane ki problem hai ( She muttered and Nikh lashed down his gaze. So what if he has this problem. He's so quite and gentleman at least not like his brother who's complete opposite to him )
.." Actually aaplog jaa sakte hai. I can't as he has ordered me toh ( I mumbled as I looked down and she held my shoulder )
..Nyonica:- Don't worry. Agar Manik sabko order deta hai toh Mai bhi ushko order deti hu. He never disobey me ( She winked and held my hand while I had no choice but to walk along with them )
..When we reached the office and his floor it was a chaos. Employees were shivering on their places while the boss as in he was bursting upon them. He was literally shouting and throwing the files upon them. God almighty have mercy on them.
..Manik:- You morons couldn't handle one deal! Apni pure career mai I've never lose. I hate losing and you all know that. Ek presentation theek sai nahi kar sakte! Can't do a single thing without me! ( He graoned like a wounded lion while the poor employees were ready to faint )
..Nyonica:- Relax Manik! It's just a deal ( She shouted walking towards him and I quietly followed her. As his gaze felled on me his anger raised but then Nyonica took hold off him )
..Nyonica:- She's with me and you please calm down son! ( She eyed but he glared back her )
..Manik:- Why the hell I will calm down huh! This stupids cannot do anything! Listen you all. Grab you're things and get lost. There are more who are dying to be part of this empire samjhe ( He shouted banging the files on floor and I knew it my part to be play. He'll not but at least I can try to stop him )
.." Hogaya tuhmara? Keh diya joh kehna thaa. Ab mai kuch keh sakti hu ( I said with my most soft voice I could hold. I know he needs to be handle with care. Handling anger with anger is of no use )
.." Manik toh kya hua yeh deal nahi hue. Ek deal sai itna bada empire ruk thodi jayega. Nevertheless you didn't heard joh hota hai ache kai liye hota hai ( I smiled walking towards him and still he was panting in anger. I held his left hand and cupped his face gently)
.." Ish baar nahi hua koi baat nahi. Better luck next time. Isshe bhi acha deal milega dekhna. Phir joh yeh purani wali deal hai aakhe phaadte reh jayenge ( I giggled and very next moment his expression softened. He gave a weak smile and I could everyone gasping around what's so shocking thing? He just smiled)
..Manik:- Mom how could you bring her here. You don't know ish time par Nandini ka favorite comedy show ata hai. Because of you she missed it ( Manik mumbled and my jaw dropped. I felt little embarrassed while Nyonica and Nikh were smiling in disbelief. At that moment I just wanted to hide my face somewhere )
..Manik:- Come to my cabin. You can watch there aur kuch bhi chahiye toh bolo anything you want. And everybody back to work now ( He ordered and walked towards his cabin holding my hand )
..I was staring at the stars and smiling to my myself when I heard a cough. I turned and saw Nikhil smiling at me.
.." Hey! Kaise hoh tum. Tumse toh theek sai baat bhi nahi hoh payi ( I exclaimed and he smiled turning to side)
..Nikh:- you're amazing. Aaj tak bh..bh..bhai nai kisiki nahi suni. Unko sh..sh..shaant karna is n..n..not easy. But you did ( He smiled and I shrugged )
..Nikh:- you're different sayad isliye he lo..lo..loves you very mu..mu..much. ( He said and I was baffled on my place. What did he said? Manik loves me?)
.." What? ( I whispered with fake smile but his smile was genuine one )
..Nikh:- Woh toh hamesha sai..Ap..ap apse pyaar karte hai. He knows you be..be..better than yourself. For you he can do any..any..anything. Kuch bhi ( He mumbled and I didn't how to react to this )
..Ohh Nandu koh pata chal gaya. What she'll do know?
