Ciel Phantomhive x Female!Reader - Pottery {FLUFF} ~Request~

London, to your mind, was a very large town. You could never get enough of walking around, day after day. Every now and then, you'd see Ciel Phantomhive, the young earl you loved dearly.

You worked at a pottery shop, not so far from that Undertaker's joint.

One day, you saw the young Phantomhive walking with his butler. You stared as they walked by. The butler turned to you and smiled. He tapped his master's shoulder and pointed to you, who blushed and went back to cleaning a glass. The earl looked your way.

When you looked up, Phantomhive was in front of the store counter. You jumped, a little surprised.

"Do you make these pieces of art?"

"Yes, sir. Everything you see here is homemade and home-decorated by my family and I. Are you interested in anything, sir?"

"Let me look."

The navy-haired fellow looked around your store, carefully inspecting every piece he found interesting. You and his butler watched him, until the butler turns around to face you.

"My name is Sebastian Michaelis, and you are, miss?"

"Oh? I'm (Y/N) (L/N). Nice to meet you, Mr. Michaelis."

"Pleasure."

You two turned back to see Phantomhive marveling at one China vase with "長く生きると繁栄" etched on it. It was a beautiful blue and white.

"What does this say, miss?"

"Oh," you walked around the counter and met up with the earl. "It is Japanese for 'Live Long and Prosper'. It's a famous American saying."

"Ah, well, I'll take it."

"Of course, Mr. Phantomhive." As you opened the glass case that held the favored piece of China, the earl placed a hand on your shoulder.

"Ciel will do just fine, miss."

"Yes, of course, Ciel."

You brought the vase over to the register, where you carefully and skillfully wrapped the China and placed it in a bag. "That will be £142." Ciel handed you the currency. "Thank you." You put it in the early register and said your goodbyes. Before he left, he took your hand and kissed it.

"Till we meet again, miss...?"

"(L/N). (Y/N), (L/N)."

"Yes, then, miss (Y/N), I bid thee farewell."
