trigger warning-mentions of self harm/suicide
Ok. Right now I am super annoyed at that one part of the Phandom (I think we all know which part). It's the crazy fans who are literally obsessed with phan (the ship) and get angry at people who don't ship it. (I've had death threats sent to me before because I said I didn't ship it(which I don't really-more on that later)). These are the same people who straight up harass them/their family and friends/other YouTubers. I mean, have you all seen what happened to Adrian? (I'm sorry, I know we're not supposed to talk about him but I feel like this needs to be discussed). Basically, the Phandom harassed him about Phan and told him he'd never be as good as Dan and Phil-that kind of stuff. And that is seriously not ok. You guys, this is the kind of thing that makes people self harm and in the worst case commit suicide. How could you do that? He's an innocent human. He did nothing to deserve that.
It also really bothers me when people spam Dan and Phil/close friends of theirs (pj, chris, etc.) asking "1s phan rel??!1?!?" You realize that they get hundreds of comments and messages like this-every. single. day. You realize they need privacy, right?
Another Phandom-related thing that bothers me a lot is after Dan's diss track was released, so many people spammed them about the lines "so your celebrity crush was j law but now it's Evan p/wtf even is your sexuality?"
I saw a comment something like this "OMG he sez He LIKz EVN p S0 dat means he's gAY sooooo HE LIKES boys so PHAN IS REAL!!11!1!!!"
^^ obvi exaggerated but I would not be surprised if I saw a comment the same as this.
Anyway, that's all for now. There's a lot more I want to discuss but that can happen later. It is currently 3 am as I'm writing this and I've been listening to Halsey for over 2 hours.
Ok so earlier I said I'd talk about shipping phan and all that and: I don't ship it. Not romantically that is. I mean I platonically ship them (so kinda like friend-shipping if you get what I'm saying). I just don't ship them in that way. Bye.
