Chapter 8- to the park

Mo's P.O.V.

I got a text from an unknown number: Hey! Do you have time to talk?

I texted back: Uhm.. Who's this?

I immediately got a text as a response: Oh haha Sorry, this is Ross, you gave me your number yesterday, remember?.. So do you have time?

I couldn't believe what I just read.. Ross, as in Ross Lynch, just texted me! Aaaaaaaah! Curious about what he wanted to talk about I replied: Yeah I have some time! What for, if I may ask..

I waited for a few minutes, then my phone buzzed. A new text from Ross, it said: Great! Can you come to the park? It's quiet over there

Me: Yeah sure, what time? And you still haven't answered my question why..

Ross: We'll tell you then, be there at 2PM alright?

I glanced over at the clock, 12:30, I still had an hour and a half to get ready. I quickly texted back: Ok! I'll be there!

I jumped out of my bed, yeah I was still in there, I was tired and thought I'd give myself a day off. But since THE Ross Lynch asked me to come, I sacrificed my day off. I took a quick shower and put on a ripped skinny jeans and a red sweater. I slipped into my black converse shoes, brushed my teeth, tied my hair together in a messy ponytail, put on some mascara and walked into the kitchen to get breakfast. My mom was sitting at the table. "Hey mom!" "Hey honey", she said not looking away from her newspaper. "I'm going to some friends in half an hour, alright?", I took a bowl and put some cereal in it. "Yes, what time will you be back?" "I don't know yet, but I promise I will let you know if I won't be there for diner." "Okay, have fun!" "Thanks", I walked into the living room to find my sisters sitting on the couch, watching tv. I sat down, eating my cereal in silence when my two sisters got in a fight. The problem was Jade wanted to see a movie, but Susan just wanted to just watch tv. I sighed, quickly finished my breakfast, walked away from the two and looked for my bag. I don't really like purses, so I took my backpack. Jade saw me grabbing my bag and stopped fighting, "Where are you going?", she curiously asked. 'To some friends." "Oh.. okay" 'Why'd you want to know?", I asked. She shrugged, "I was just interested in your life, may I?" I gave her a 'really?' look, because she's never interested in my life. I walked out the door and got to the park.

I was careful in case 'Ross' wasn't the real Ross, but just some weird kid trying to trick me. I looked around, there were kids playing, a couple was kissing and some old people were walking along the path. Then I saw four persons sitting at a table. They all wore sunglasses and a beanie. The one with the yellow beanie waved and gestured for me to come over. I saw a blonde piece of hair coming from under his beanie. I tried not to fangirl, but it was hard, I think you can imagine. I walked over to them. It was Ross, like I already thought, and with him were Riker, Rocky and Rydel.

"H-hey", I said, trying not to sound too nervous. I failed, because even though I already talked to them twice, I still couldn't believe it was real. "Hi!" they all said. "Take a seat", Rocky patted on an empty spot next to him. I sat down and looked around to see everyone's faces. They were staring at me and smiling. It was kinda scary if you ask me.. "What's the problem, do I have some cereal on my face?!" I asked wiping my mouth with my hand. They started laughing. "No, no, you don't", Rydel said, still laughing. "Then what's wrong?" I got red cheeks. "Nothing, nothing's wrong", Ross told me. "Okayyy... Why did you ask me to come?" "Well, we have an idea.. but first a question", Ross said, "When is Susan's birthday and when are you guys gonna celebrate it?" I was curious about what their plan was, so I quickly answered, "Her birthday is in exactly two weeks and we'll celebrate it the day after, because it's Friday then and we can stay up late", I smiled.

They thought for a moment then Riker turned to Rocky, "Rocky?" he asked, which made me even more anxious. Rocky was searching for something on his phone. Then he looked up to Riker, nodded and turned towards me, "Ross and Riker had this idea to perform on your sister's birthday.. What do you think?" I gasped and kept my mouth wide open. They started laughing and after a few seconds Rocky shut my mouth by pushing against my jaw, I laughed.

Then I realized what he just said, "wait wait wait.. did you just say you guys want to perform on my sister's birthday party?", I almost shouted. "Sssshht", they shushed me. "Yes, I pretty much did", Rocky smiled. I tried to calm down and when I did I said: "Well, I'd love you to.." "Oh no, I hear a but..", Rydel interrupted. I chuckled. "No buts, I only have to ask my parents if it's okay, but I.." Again I was interrupted, this time by Ross, "Hey! You said no buts!" "I'm sorry.. Anyways, what I wanted to say that is that I think my parents are never gonna believe me.. so they will probably say no.." Everybody frowned. "Just ask, and if they say no just call or text me and we'll figure out what will convince them", Ross said. I nodded.

There was a silence, then Rydel said: "What time do you have to get back?" "I don't really have a time settled, I just had to text when I wouldn't be home by diner." "Great! Let's go do something fun then! Right guys?" Rydel asked their brothers. They all nodded excited and I just was about to scream and fangirl around the park and tell everyone what Rydel just said. But I decided not to do that, since they'd think I'm a complete retard, or not.. I don't know. They're used to fangirling anyways. "You're kidding, right?" I asked. "Do you want me to?", Rydel replied. "No no, it's just that.. wow, it's a lot to handle what happened this last week." "But you want to go hang out with us?", Rocky asked. "Yes!!" "Alright, what are we going to do?" Riker said. "We could go swimming at our place.." Ross suggested. "I don't have my bikini with me, I'd have to go get it.." I said. "You could borrow one of mine! I think we have the same size", Rydel smiled. "Okay!" I said excited.

We got to their house. Can you believe it! I was at the Lynch's house! I greeted Mark and Stormie, they're so friendly and sweet! Rydel and I got to her room and she gave me one of her bikini's, it was green. I changed in the bathroom and after she did so too, we walked downstairs. The boys were already in the swimming pool, jumping of the diving board and pushing each other in the water. I greeted Ryland.

Rydel and I laid down on the loungers. We talked for a while about just random things when I felt cold water all over my body. It was Rocky who was spraying me with the water hose. I squealed. He quickly put the hose down and before I could run away he picked me up bridal style and threw me into the water.

"Rocky!" I screamed and water entered my mouth. I spit it out and glared at Rocky. He stood there laughing as I saw Rydel sneaking up on him. I smirked at Rocky. "Why are you sm-" He couldn't finish his sentence, because Rydel pushed him and he fell into the water. The boys, Rydel and I laughed and after Rocky surfaced he laughed along. We swam some more until it was time for diner. We all sat on the table in the kitchen and ate our pizza. After diner I did the dishes together with Riker and then we played some videogames until it was time for me to leave.

Riker drove me home. "Thank you", I quietly said when we arrived at my house. "Well, I wouldn't want you to walk home all alone in the dark, so no problem", He answered. I laughed, "No I mean for all of today, thank you" "You're welcome", he smiled. I opened the door and stepped out of the car. I walked up to the front door and turned around to see Riker leave. I smiled. I went inside and got ready to go to bed. This was the best day of my life! I got to spend time with the most awesome band in the world! I got in my bed and cuddled with my stuffed panda, I closed my eyes and dreamed about today.
