LIAM

"There you are sweetheart, I wondered where you were," I said, walking into the nursery. "Hey Li," Y/N said, slowly standing up from the rocking chair. I quickly rushed to her, hands grabbing her waist, helping her up. "Can I show you something?" She asked happily. I nodded and watched her walk around the room. I smiled slightly, keeping a careful eye on her. She opened the wardrobe door, but as she went to get something out, she knocked the door closed. She groaned, opening it again. My eyes traveled around her body; over the curve of her stomach that held our baby inside, down her legs, then back up to her face. She had that pregnancy glow, she was beautiful and amazing. "Li," she said, snapping me out of my thoughts. She walked towards me, holding a tiny onesie in her hands. I opened my arms for her, but she suddenly bumped into the baby crib in between us. "Ow," she hissed, hand rubbing her side. "Oh my god sweetheart, are you alright?" I asked trying not to panic. "I’m fine Li," Y/N replied and rubbed her rounded stomach gently. I stopped towards her, hands resting of her hips. "I know our baby is growing in there, but it’s getting in the way," she said getting upset, "I keep walking into things and forgetting it’s there. I know it’s silly and I should know it’s there, but I-," I cut her off by pressing lips to hers gently. "I understand sweetheart, ok? I just don’t like you getting hurt," I soothed. She nodded, "I’m fine. I promise I’ll try and be more careful."

LOUIS

"Argh, easy baby boy," I heard Y/N say from the next room. I opened the bathroom door and looked into our bedroom. She was sitting on the bed, the blanket covering her legs. I smiled as I noticed her wearing one of my tshirts; being one of the only things that fit her nowadays. "Everything alright love?" I asked, worriedly. She nodded, eyes not looking away from her hand, which rested on the bottom of her rounded stomach. "He’s kicking again," she whispered, voice a little unsure, "I think." My eyes widened and heart begun beating faster. I quickly rushed to the bed, climbing in beside Y/N. "You think?" I repeated. "It feels like kicks, but they’re consistent and rhythmic. Feel," she said, slowly leaning back against the pile of pillows behind her. As she removed her hand, her belly begun shaking lightly; little jumps every few seconds. I smiled in awe of the movement and slowly put my hand on her lower stomach. "Hiccups," I said excitedly, "I remember mum telling me about getting them when she was pregnant with me." Y/N looked back at her stomach, giggling as the movement continued. "That’s so cool," I whispered, gently rubbing the spot. "He’s settling down, Lou," she said, turning on her side a little, snuggling into the pillows. "My boy, be good now and let mummy sleep," I said, softy placing a kiss above her belly button. "Good night beautiful," I kissed her temple, before whispering to myself, "hiccups. I can’t believe it."

NIALL

"Hey Ni," Y/N said softly as she walked the bedroom. I smiled up at her from my spot sitting on the bed. "Princess, I was just coming downstairs to find you," I said happily. She gave me a smile, but not one that reached her eyes or lit up her face, but before I could ask her what was wrong, she spoke up. "Can I have a cuddle? I’m not feeling good and the babies keep kicking. And I just want you." I nodded, feeling the need to hold her close. "Of course, I would love nothing more," I said, holding out my arms for her. She giggled slightly and slowly lower herself on the bed beside me. Together we laid down, facing each other. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her against my chest. I frowned when I noticed how far away from me she was. I looked down and smiled at the reason why; two little Horans were growing in between us. I still couldn’t believe that Y/N was pregnant; that I was becoming a dad. My head snapped back up, as I heard Y/N sigh heavily. I gently brushed the hair away from her face, kissing her forehead. "I just want to be close to you," she whispered, getting teary, "but the bump keeps getting in the way." I took a deep breath, wanting nothing more than to hold her in my arms, the way I used to; so close that we were almost one person. I wiggled around slightly, smiling when I found a position closer to her. "How about this?" I asked. She smiled, snuggling her head in my shoulder, "it’s perfect Ni."

HARRY

"Just like that," Y/N said to herself in the living room, "no no, it’s not working." I stood in the doorway and watch her move on the couch, trying to paint her toe nails. She sighed, putting the nail polish down on the coffee table and crossing her arms over her chest. "Let me help you sweetheart," I said, having seen her struggle enough. She sighed again, leaning against the couch. I walked closer and kissed her cheek, before sitting down beside her. "Lay down baby. I’ve got this," I said. As she laid down and made herself comfortable, I took her feet into my lap and started massaging them. Y/N closed her eyes, relaxing under my touch. "Oh Haz, that feels so good," she whispered, "I’m glad, now just relax, baby," I soothed, picking up the nail polish she had before. "Your daughter keeps getting in my way. I can’t paint or even see my toes," she said, trying to be mad, but I heard the smile in her voice. ‘My daughter,’ I repeated in my head; I was so thrilled that we were having a little girl; someone else to spoil. I slowly started painting her toe nails and hummed the tune of her favourite song. "Are you sure you can do it probably?" She asked after a few silent moments. "Trust me baby, I have done this before," I chuckled, "and plus, you can’t see your toes anyway." She gasped and playfully hit my shoulder, before giggling and rubbing her hands over her stomach, "you’re lucky I love you." "Very lucky," I whispered to myself.

ZAYN

"Babygirl, you ready to have your belly remembered forever?" I asked, setting up the plaster and water on the table. She nodded, moving on the chair to get comfortable. "Can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. It seems like in the past few weeks I’ve doubled in size," she said. "But even more beautiful," I replied, making her blush slightly, "before I start, you don’t need anything to drink or eat? Or to use the bathroom?" She giggled, shaking her head. "Alright, here we go," I said, gently rubbing gel over her stomach so the plaster wouldn’t stick. I picked up a piece of plaster and placed it on the curve of her baby bump. "That tickles Z," she giggled, as I repeated the action, "and it’s cold," I chuckled, leaning forward to kiss her forehead. "If you stay still, it will be over soon," I smirked, biting my tongue. I moved my hands over her stomach and smoothed down the plaster, my smile growing wider. She was absolutely gorgeous and although she couldn’t see it, she was glowing. My hands froze as I felt the little kicks of our baby. Y/N giggled again, making her belly shake. "Little one is wiggly," she whispered happily, "they want daddy to hurry up." My eyes lit up at hearing her say ‘daddy’. I still couldn’t believe that our little baby was growing inside of her and in less than two months we were going to be a little family. "I love you," I whispered, looking up to meet her bright eyes and without her saying anything, I knew she felt the same.
