LIAM:
As you sat on the couch in the living, you looked up at the clock on the wall and sighed; Liam would be home from the studio soon. You ran you hands over your baby bump and closed your eyes as you felt another wave a pain grow in your lower belly and spread around to your back. You took some deep breaths, trying to relax. With three weeks till your due date, feeling uncomfortable and little pains in your stomach were normal, but something about these ones were making you worry. The sound of keys in the front door and opening, made you open your eyes. Liam hummed softly as he took of his jacket and beanie; shaking the snow off himself. “Hey sweetheart,” he said happily, surprised to find you on the couch. “Got lots done at the studio, the album is- hey what’s wrong darling?” his smile fell as he rushed to sit beside you. You took a shakily breath, your hands rubbing lightly on the bottom of your stomach. When you didn’t answer, Liam took one of your hands in his, frowning when he noticed they were trembling slightly. “Sweetheart, talk to me, what’s happening?” Liam whispered, giving your hand gently squeeze. “I’ve been feeling these pains in my lower stomach,” you suddenly burst into tears. Liam kissed your hand, “how long have they been happening?” “A few hours,” you said through tears, “it’s early Li, the baby can’t come now.” Liam wrapped his arms around you, pulling you against him. He looked calm on the outside, but on the inside he was falling apart. “Come on Sweetheart, let’s go to the hospital, just to make sure nothing’s wrong. I’m not taking any chances,” he said, kissing your temple. You tighten your grip on his shirt, as another contraction wrapped around your body. He rubbed your lower back, applying pressure until the pain faded away and you let go of him. Liam helped you up and into the car, grabbing the hospital bag on his way, that his mum had reminded him to pack the day before. As he drove, he held your hand in his, bringing it up to his mouth, placing light kisses to try to sooth you every few minutes.
LOUIS:
You waddled into the kitchen, where Louis looking out the window to the backyard. You lent against the counter with a groan and he turned around. “You look even more beautiful when you wear my clothes,” he whispered, rubbing his hands his old Rover football jersey, feeling the curve of your baby bump. You moved on your feet as your back started to ache again. “You alright love?” He asked. “I just want him out already. I’m a week overdue; I’m uncomfortable, and everything hurts,” you replied, getting emotional. Louis kissed your forehead, rubbing your back softly. “I know it’s hard, but he will be there soon,” he smiled, “how about some of that raspberry leaf tea mum brought the other day. She said it can help start labor?” You nodded, willing to try anything. Louis made two cups of tea and helped you sit on one of the stools on the other side of the counter. “If this doesn’t work, we could always order in a spicy curry or,” he paused, giving you one of his cheeky smirks. You giggled lightly and took a sip of the tea, trying to hide your smile. “How do you feel? Cramps? Pains, anything?” Louis asked hopeful, as you finished your tea. You shook your head, hands resting on the peak of your rounded stomach. “And before you suggest it, no spicy curries. The smell last time made me feel sick,” you said, nose scrunching as you remembered dinner last week. “There is something else we could try,” he whispered, moving to stand in between your legs. You blushed as Louis’ pressed his lips to yours, his hands resting on your knees. His hands moved slightly up your thigh, drawing lazy patterns over your sweatpants. “Lou,” you whispered as he kissed along your jaw, down your neck. You felt him smirk against your skin. “You are so beautiful,” he whispered, squeezing your thighs. You gasped, your eyes widening as you felt pressure in your lower stomach. “I love you,” he continued, not noticing your face turn white. The pressure increased and you felt a pop, your waters breaking onto the floor and all over Louis. He looked up at you, eyes widening. “Well that worked,” you whimpered, shifting on the stool to get comfortable as a sharp pain grew in your lower stomach. Louis rested his hand on your waist and kissed your forehead. “Got to call mum,” he said quickly, with a hint of excitement and nervousness in his voice.
