LIAM:
"Are you reading to our little one again?" Liam said, walking into the room. You looked up at him from your spot on the comfy couch. "Actually it's the baby name book from your mum," you replied, "thought I would have a look." Liam gently picked up your feet and sat down, placing them on his lap. "Found any that you like?" he asked. "I have highlighted a few I like," you said, "but it's scary to think that whatever name we pick, they are going to have for their whole life, what if it doesn't suit them or doesn't match Payne," you rumbled. Liam started rubbing your feet, trying to get you to calm down. "That feels good Li," you whispered, making him laugh. "How about you read me what you like and I'll kept doing this?" he said. You nodded and flicked through the book, looking for your favourites. "For a girl I like Hanna and Skyler, but I love Amelia," you said. "Amelia Payne," he whispered. "Has a nice ring to it. What about Amelia Claire?" you suggested, making him smile happily. "And for a boy, Samuel, James and Cooper but I don't know," you told him. He thought for a minute and stopped rubbing your feet. "Finley Payne," he said, "Finley James." "I love it. Amelia or Finley," you said rubbing your baby bump.
LOUIS:
"Before we talk about names, I need to say that we are not naming our son Thomas, or Tommy," you said, picking up the baby name book. "Tommy Tomlinson," he laughed, "I liked the sound of it." You rolled your eyes at him beside you on the couch. "Do you have any other ideas?" you asked, he shook his head. "Ok I'll read some and tell me what you think?" you said, eyes scanning the names. "Jackson," you read, Louis frowned. "Felix," you said and he shook his head. "Jonathan." he chuckled, "no way! Give me the book," he said, taking it off you. You sighed and rested your hands on your baby bump. He was quiet for a few minutes, turning page after page. He let out a breath, closing the book, "who gave you this book? It's not even helping," he groaned. You giggled, "I brought myself actually. I thought it would help us as we haven't had much luck on our own." "Ok, let me think. I remember seeing a name I liked the other day," he said, "Noah." Your eyes lit up, "What about Carter as his middle name." "Noah Carter Tomlinson," he confirmed. "I love it. It's classic, yet modern," you squealed, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Glad we worked that out," he smiled, kissing your lips.
NIALL:
"Why does it have to be so hard?" you said closing your eyes and resting your hands on your baby bump. "We are picking our babies names, it should be fun Princess," Niall said kissing your cheek. "I know, but we have more names that we don't like than ones we do," you groaned. You slowly opened your eyes and put your head on his shoulder. "How about you pick a boy name and I'll pick a girl name?" he suggested. You smiled thinking that was the best idea either of you have had all day. The room fell silent as you both looked through the lists you had written over the past few days. "I really like Declan and Riley," you said, "plus their both Irish," you added, making Niall chuckle. "I like it Declan more, what about Declan Oliver?" he said, making you smile. "Cora? it's different but cute and easy to say," he explained. You fell in love with the name as soon as he said it. You thought for a minute before looking at him. "Cora Paige?" you asked. "Perfect," he agreed. "I love them," you squealed happily, "little Declan and Cora." Niall put his hand on yours on your stomach, "Good strong Irish names for the little Horan's."
HARRY:
"Ready to swap?" he asked, looking over at you. You giggled and turned slightly so he couldn't see the piece of paper in you hands, "in a minute." He sighed and read on his list again. "Before we swap lists, I think her middle name should be Anne," you said, grabbing Harry's hand and playing with his fingers. "After mum?" he whispered, tears filling his eyes. You nodded, "she is a wonderful woman and you look up to her so much. I would love our daughter to even be a little like her." He kissed your forehead. "Thank you baby, I would love that," he said, "and I know she will too." "Now for a first name," you said, taking Harry's list from him and giving him yours. For the next few minutes you both read each others ideas. You smiled as you read the names, falling a love with more than one of them. "Caitlin is pretty," Harry said, "I also like Ruby." "Spencer," you whispered, "Spencer Styles." "I liked it, but wasn't sure about the S S initials," he said. "But, Spencer Anne," you whispered, then suddenly felt a light tap against your hand. "I think she likes it Haz," you whispered, grabbing his hand and putting it over the spot. He smiled as she kicked harder. "That's settle it, Spencer."
ZAYN:
"I've been thinking of names for our baby," you said one night during dinner. "You have?" Zayn asked, "what did you have in mind?" he smiled. "Like what if-" you took a breath, looking at Zayn, "like if they had an Arabic name like yours." Zayn dropped his fork and looked speechless. "It doesn't have to anything really Arabic sounding, just something for you and your family. I just feel that we haven't done a lot of your religious traditions. But if-" he cut you off by rushing over to you. "You are already giving me a family, I couldn't ask you for that," Zayn said kneeling in front of you. "I want to," you replied. "Thank you," he whispered, "do you have names?" he asked. "Mya, for a little girl. It means Princess," you smiled. "I love it. What about Mya Grace," he smiled. "After my late grandma," you said softly, tears filling your eyes. He wiped your eyes, kissing your lips. "And Kadin for a boy, meaning friend or companion," you said. "We could make it Kaiden and it still holds the same meaning?" he suggested. "Maybe Ryan as his middle name?" you added. "Kaiden Ryan Malik or Mya Grace Malik," he said, rubbing your stomach softly, "they sound perfect."
