*Coras pov*
My door, slightly cracks open, and I look up, and see no-one, must just be wind from one of the open windows, I lay back down and close my eyes, next thing I know there is a freakishly heavy body laying on top of me,
"Get off me you woke me uppp" I groan, as I stuff my face back into my pillow.
"I'm sorry Cora didn't mean toooo, I loveee youu" Calum says hugging me,
"Love you too cal-pal" I say back rubbing his hair,
"As a friend" I add on laughing
Calum sighs, and sits on the end of my bed,
"How was your sleep?" He asks me
"Well great, until you woke me up" I smile
"Your welcome mate" he laughs
I roll over, and wrap my self into a burrito with my blanket,
"Come on Cora, it's time to get up" Calum says, pulling my blankets off
"NOOO it's so early" I complain
"Cora, it's almost 11, come on" he says
"No" I say rolling into a ball
"I can't believe I had to do this" Calum says
"What?" I say confused
Then Calum picks me up and carries me to the kitchen,
"Here you go Cora" he smiles, as he passes me vegemite on toast and a glass of orange juice
"Thanks cal-pal" I smile
"No problem cora" he laughs, I'll be back, ok?" He says as he runs off

As I'm finishing my toast Calum gets a call, I decide to be nice, I'll answer and say Calum isn't here at the moment.
"Hello?" I say into the phone
"Um, who the hell are you? Where's Calum?" A female voice asks
"I'm Cora, nice to meet you? But Calum isn't here at this exact moment" I say back nicely
"Oh, your Cora, that really gross girl that Calum posted a picture with last night on insta?" She snaps back
My breath is caught up in my throat,
"What do you mean?" I say, hurt
"Well first, your fat, your ugly, I'm pretty sure you have no personality, I mean you seem boring as hell, Calum must just be hanging out with you because he feels sorry for you" she snaps
"Um, I'll tell Calum to call you back" I say
"MY NAME IS NATALIE" she yells
I hang up Calums phone, and I walk out of the kitchen, and go into my room, and I sit there, and I cry, i let the tears stream out, the tears I have been holding in for a long time, and I just sit there, with the salty tears constantly streaming down my face,
I hear a knock on my door,
"Cora? Do you want your last piece of toa- WHATS WRONG?" Calum says running up to me and sitting next to me
"Nothing, I'm fine, but uh,You got a call, before, from a girl named Natalie" I say, still crying
"Oh her" Calum says dissapointed,
I look up to him, confused
"My ex, she cheated on me, still likes me, and I take she said some not-so-nice things about you?" He says pulling me closer to him, hugging me
I nod back at Calum
"She's probably just jealous, you know who wouldn't be jealous of you" he says rubbing my back
"Everyone" I say resting my head on his shoulder,
"No, they are all jealous of you, because you are one of the best people I know, your smart, pretty, and funny, your wonderful Cora" he smiles at me
"Lol no" I laugh back
"Your funny" he laughs back at me
"Your my best friend Calum, even though we just met" I say to him
Calum smiles back

I think to myself,

Yeah, we are just friends
It really does feel like shit to be friend zoned, but not like she would actually like me, I mean who would? I'm just me, a guy who is in a band, and we are all total losers, and I just got friend zoned,
Great.
"Cora" I say taking a breath
"Yes cal pal" she sniffles, as she wipes her face with a tissue,
"Do you want to come to the movies with me today?" I say closing my eyes
"Yes" she smiles
"Cool, I'll be back at 5 to pick you up, do you wanna eat dinner before it?" I ask
"Yeah food is great" she says
"Ok, great, well I'll be here in 5 hours" I say smiling
"Great" she smiles, standing up, I stand up with her, give her a hug before I wave, walking out the door
