*novas pov*

"hi?" i say to the actually quite pretty girl standing right infront of me,                                                        "oh, hi" she says, as she rolls her eyes at me, and looks directly at ashton, as if im not here,            "patty, i need to talk to you,now" he says getting up and taking her to the kitchen                               i decide to call cora, i go into my contacts and press her name,

"cora?" i say into the phone

"nova, whats wrong?"

"well im with ashton and, a girl came in and its just" i stop talking because, a tear comes rolling down my cheek..

"nova? are you crying, i know youve liked him for a while, just tell him how you feel" she says calmly.

"ok, thanks nova, i love you" i say smiling

" i love you to mate" she says, hanging up the phone.

i decide to walk into the kitchen, to go and talk to ashton, and as i open the door, i see patty kissing ashton,

"i knew it was too good to be true" i say, accidentally thinking out loud. i wuickly run out of the door way, and run out the front door, and just sit in ashtons garden, since my keys are inside, and im too embarassed to go back in, i just sit, and think, and cry..

i hear the door open and close, and i see patty walk out, alone..

"patty?" i say to her softly

"what do you want?" she says harshly.

"how did it go? you know, you and ash" i say, wanting to know the answer

"not good, he says he has feeling for another girl, probably not you though, dont get your hopes up kid" she says to me, even though im the same age as her,

"night" i say to her

"night" she says, as she actually smiles at me, nicely..

i continue to just sit out side, looking at the stars. and i hear somebody sit beside me, i look to see ashton.

"nova?" ashton asks

i look over at him

"i like you" he says taking a big breath,

"no you dont" i laugh

"well i have since eight grade" he laughs

"yeah sure, you probably didnt even know i exsisted" i say obviously

"i knew you exsisted, i really liked your braces too" he says laughing

i smile at the gesture

"i like it when you smile, its cute" he says as he grabs hold of my hand, holding it so softly.

i look down at our hands, and i smile

he stands up, still holding my hand and brings me back inside,

i sit down on the couch next to him, and he looks at me.

"too good to be true?" he says smiling

i face palm, at how he remembered at  what i said

"i thought it was too good to be true, the slight chance that you liked me" i say blushing

he smiles "and i do" he says as he turns on the tv, and plays the movie avatar

ashtons pov*

as we are half way through the movie, i see nova place her head on my shoulder, i get butterflies from the feeling, and i rest my head ontop pf hers, smiling at how i got to this, from shy kid who wouldn talk to a girl who is in his art class, who he has had a MAJOR crush on since 8th grade...

 i slowly drift off to sleep, with nova in my arms..

"ASHY WAKE UP!" nova yells at me.

"OH SHIT WHATS WRONG ARE YOU OK?" i yell

"NO BUT I MIGHT BE KILLED SOON! ASHY ITS 2 IN THE MORNING! MY DAD WILL KILL ME!" she says sitting downj on the floor.

"no he wont" i say reassuring her

"um, he will" she says worried

"do you want to call him, say your sleeping at coras house or something" i say

"ok, that may work" she says getting her phone

"dad?" she says putting the phone on speaker

"NOVA! WHERE ARE YOU!" he whisper yells

"im at coras, studying, im going to sleep over, we just finished practicing for the science test" she says closing her eyes

"oh, ok, fair enough, i guess its fine, since you are studying, but you have to get good grades on that test, because i am trusting you, DONT YOU BE LYING TO ME NOVA! and dont misuse my trust, so i allow you to sleep." he says hanging up the phone

"wow, he is strict" i say laughing

"yep, told you" she smiles "well i better just show up to coras house, and just sleep there" she laughs, standing up,

"no, stay here, with me?" i suggest

"ashton, ive never slept at a guys house before, dont you find this weird?" she says

"no, but you can sleep in the spare room if you want?" i suggest

"no, its fine, ill sleep with you, i like to cuddle" she laughs

"same" i laugh, as i run up stairs,

"here you go!" i say throwing down a pair of trackies and a shirt for her to wear,

"THANKYOU!" she yells from down stairs, as she walks into the bathroom to change

nova walks into my bed room, in my clothing, and they are way too big for her, but honestly its really cute...

she jumps into my bed, and cuddles me, quickly falling asleep, as i rub in circular motions on her back.

"hey nova, dont expect me to always be loving, somtimes i will be cold, and hard to understand, but i will still love you" i whisper to the girl who is sleeping on me.

do i love nova? did i just say that?
