"Well Cora tell me about you" Mali asks
"I'm short, I like cookies, I like music and-"
"You like music, how about calums music!" Calums mum asks
"It's actually really good" she smiles back
"You've heard it?" Mali asks
"Yes" Cora laughs
"He refuses to play for us" they both say
I blush, at what they say, and Cora just looks at me,
"Oh my god cal, your a horrible kid, go now, get your guitar and play for them, SING TOO" she says too me
"He sings?" Mali asks
"Yep and he is good" Cora says, smiling at me
My mum just stares at me and winks,
"No, I refuse" I state, crossing my arms,
Mali looks at me, and smiles
"No Mali" I say
"Calum" my mum says to me, smiling
"No, I said no" I state, un crossing my arms
"Calum pleaseeeee" Cora asks, as she grabs my hand underneath the table,
"Fine" I state as I stand up,
"Cora, you can call me mum, you have done good" my mum says to Cora,
And Cora winks at me as I walk out,
As I am in the garage, I hear them all talking, as I hear my mum start to cook.
"So are you and Calum friends?" Mali asks
"Yep bestest" Cora replies
"I think Calum likes you" Mali states
"Oh really?" Cora laughs
"Do you know something I don't" Mali asks
"No" Cora says I between her laughter,
"CALUM!" I hear my sister yell through the walls,oh no..
"Do you need help?" I hear Cora say, as I hear her stand up,
"Yes Cora, can you peel these carrots?" I hear my mum say, as I hide in the garage, on the wall closest to the kitchen,
I hear the garage door open
"Calum I'm not dumb, come out or I'll tell mum about you getting an f on your last history test" mali states
"Ok ok"  I say getting out of my hiding space,
"Tell me" she states
"What" I smile
"Tell me" she says louder
"Tell you what?" I laugh
"Calum I know you heard our conversation, now tell me, do you like Cora" she says, a look of seriousness on her face
"Ok, don't tell mum, but she is my girlfriend" I say quietly
"OH MY GOD" Mali yells
"Shhhh" I say quickly
"Sorry sorry" Mali smiles
"I like Cora, don't ruin this for me" I say
"She's nice, a step up from Natalie, like a huge ass step up, good job cal" she states patting my head
"No don't mess up my hair" I whine
"Oh my god" she complains as she walks out,

"DINNER" I yell out, so Mali can hear from the lounge room,
As we all sit down to eat our chicken curry, my mum stops me,
"I like this Cora" my mum smiles
"So Calum, how's school" Mali asks me
"Great, I like art the best" I smile
"Why?" My mum asks
Mali states at me, and winks,
"Because I- uh- um"
"Because his sculpture is actually one of the best" Cora says, saving me
"Really Calum" Mali asks, smirking
"Yes Mali" I state
"Good job cal" my mum says,
"Thanks mum" I laugh
"Well Cora, how's school for you" my mum asks Cora
"Best week, but I'm nervous for graduation" she smiles at my mum
"Fair enough, great that you had a good week, and I'm proud to see you two graduate together!" My mum smiles, looking happier than ever,
"Well Calum, you need to go house shopping, Cora do you want to come?" Mali suggests
"Yeah sure," she smiles, giving a thumbs up,
"What just happened" I laugh
"Well, I want someone reasonable around me, I'm not going to be stuck with you all day, have your girlfriend around you so you don't annoy me"Mali states
My mum looks at me
"Girlfriend?" My mum says seriously
I just look down at my bowl, and Mali mouths an apology to me,
"Why didn't you say so! Welcome to the family Cora!" My mum yells out,
That was a completely different experience to what I thought I would get,
Cora smiles, and looks up

"I think I'm going to drop Cora off now" I smile
"NOOO" my mum says
"Yeah, we have school tommorow mum" I laugh
"But I'm having fun, looking through your baby pictures" Cora adds on, laughing
"WHAT" I yell, running and closing the book,
"Time to go" I say quickly, grabbing her hand, and running to my car
"Bye!" Cora yells out
"Bye!" My mum and sister yell back
As I hop into my car, Cora laughs at me
"Oh my god, your baby spider man photo is my favorite" she says laughing her head off,
"I was hot even back then, admit it" I smile
"Yeah sure" Cora smiles,
"Hey, you just wanted to see the baby photos so you could see me naked" I smile, grabbing her hand, with one hand, and steering with the other,
"Yeah sure, tell yourself that" she laughs
"I know you did" I laugh
"Nah" she smiles, looking at me

"We have arrived to our destination" I say in a accent,
"Thankyou sir" she states, as she hugs me
As I walked Cora to the door, she whispered to me
"Thanks spider boy"
I just gave her a hug and scoffed at the bad joke,
And as she was walking inside, I stopped her,
"Hey Cora" I say
"Yes cal-"
And as she turns around I give her a peck on the cheek,only a peck, just a lil kiss
"See you at school bub!" I yell as I run off to the car
"Bye!" She says, smiling so bright, Like something crazy had happened, and she just walked back into her house, and that was all I saw, from the car before I drove off..
