Chapter Four: Joey's arrival

"Aaaaaaaaaah! oomf" Joey was sucked into the book and He had just fell to the ground.

"Hello?! is anyone here?"

No answer.

"Oh ok" then Joey noticed something different about what he was wearing. It wasn't a t-shirt and ripped jeans like usual, no, it was a suit of armour and attached to it was a sword and a few strings of rope.

"What.... The.... Heck.... Am.... I.... Wearing?!?!"

Then he looked around. He was in a field. As in a farming field. He didn't want to get shot for being on a farmers property so he started running. When he thought he was far enough he decided to call Ronnie. See where she is at.

They talked for about five minutes till they hung up.

"Alright now where is that Giants castle"

He looked around and around and around and then he saw a small village. He went to it.

When he got there he went straight to a place that seemed like a grocery store. And it was. He went up to the clerk and asked where the Giants castle was. Everyone in the store mist have over heard him talking and they all gasped, including the clerk.

"Why w-would you w-want to g-go there?" stuttered the clerk

"I want to slay the Giant" he started making up a story so that he could get the directions. "I have been training ling and hard for this, my trainer told me he would give me the directions to the castle but he passed on to the heavens above and now i feel it is my duty to fulfil the destiny he had given me"

"Oh well i am so sorry for the loss un... its about 11 and a quarter miles due west of here"

"Thank you my good man"

Joey shot him a smile and walked out.

He started west when he came across a pond he started walking through. Luckily there wasn't that much mud or that it wasn't to deep.

He decided to call Ronnie again, to see where she was at.

They talked for not that long then they both hung up.

"Almost out of this pond, and yes!" he ran to the field and he ran half way through it when he saw it. A huge dark castle with dragons circling around and giant trolls guarding the entrance. He looked at the ground to see how much of a walk it would be and it looked like another 9 more miles.

"That castle must be huge"

Then his phone rang. It was Ronnie.

"Hello Rrronnie"

"Hello Joey"

"Where are you at?"

"'Bout 7 miles away, what about you?"

"8 miles"

"Haha ok well i was just calling to say hi you know the usual"

"Ok well i am goi g to hang up now! Bye Ronnie!"

"Bye!"

They hung up.

'Did i really just hang up on the girl of my dreams? stupid stupid stupid!'

He started walking again. And thats when he saw a horse just galloping around. Joey walked about 13 meters closer and stopped. He called the horse over and the horse froze. It stared at Joey for a bit and walked over. He stopped a meter away. Joey reached his arm out and the horse put its nose under the palm of Joey's hand.

"Hi, you are a very beautiful horse!"

The horse seemed happy.

"You wanna be my horse?"

The horse seemed as happy as can be. It knelt down and Joey hopped on. The horse galloped around in circles until Joey gently turned it head towards the castle. The horse started freaking out. Joey started stroking it's hair and it calmed down.

"It will be ok! hmm i wonder what your name should be, how about electric. Seems like a name that fits since you are so ecstatic!"

Once again Joey gently turned electric's head towards the castle. Electric hesitated but started trotting toward the huge castle. Then they came across a dragon about 25 feet away from them. Joey knew he would have to slay the dragon to get past so he brought electric to a tree about 50 feet away from the dragon. He didn't wan't her to get hurt. He used some rope he had on his suit to tie her to the tree and he ran up to the dragon. Joey climbed onto the back and made his way towards the head. The dragon noticed that something was crawling around its bod and started going nuts. Wiping its tail all around, jumping up and down, bobbing its head, anything just to get Joey off of it. And it worked. Joey landed fell off and landed right at the mouth of the dragon. Just before the dragon could snap its jaw down on Joey, he slid under the dragon and was facing its chest. There was no time for thinking. He took the sword and stabbed the dragons heart. As fast as he could, Joey crawled out from under the dragon so it wouldn't crush him. The dragon fell to the ground and blood was all over the place. Just to be safe Joey cut off the head. He ran back to electric and they started for the castle.
