Ronnie was a quarter mile away and she was getting nervous. What if Joey didn't get there in time? what if the giant saw here? she had so much thoughts going through her head she couldn't think straight. A part of her wanted to stay in the book and the other wanted to leave. She didn't know why she wanted to stay or leave. All she could think straight about was Joey. She was just so worried that he would run into a dragon and not know what to do. Then she got a phone call from him.
"Joey?"
"Two dragons down three to go!"
"You killed one?!"
"Why indeed i did!"
"Oh my goodness i was so worried that you would run into one and not know what to do!"
"I am not THAT stupid! i play video games!"
"Whatever. Anyway i am like, half a quarter mile away from the castle."
Ronnie wasn't the best with math.
"What?! i am still half a mile!"
"Oh. Well hurry up because i am not slowing down!"
"Ok ok bye"
"Bye"
They hung up. That conversation really worried her. She was less than half a quarter way there and he was only half a mile.
She couldn't really figure out why she was so nervous about Joey. Lately she has been having a feeling that she has never felt before in her life about Joey. Whenever she saw him or talked to him her git would feel like it was tied inti a knot. Was it maybe she had a crush on him? She never knew what having a crush felt like so she wouldn't know.
"Woah horse woah"
She stopped the horse about 20 feet away from the castle just to be safe.
Ronnie started walking to the castle. She was shaking. She had never been as scared as she is right now in her entire life. The castle made her look like she was half her size. She could just crawl right under the door. And that is what she did.
When she was in she saw a couch, triple her size. She saw a big shadow and without thinking she climbed up the couch and hit in between the couch cushions. Just to be safe she turned her phone off.
"Ugh why does being evil have to be so tough" his voice sounded rough. It was deep.
He sat down on the couch really close to Ronnie.
She snuck out from between the cushions and ran out of the living room. She ran for what seemed like forever when she went into what seemed like the kitchen. She went to the counter and hid behind a fruit basket.
The giant walked in and opened the fridge.
"No, no, no, not a chance, why the hell did i get that, hell no, nope, nuh uh, aaah! I... NEED... FOOD!!! aah deep breath the great attack is in two days you can stay strong till then"
'Two days?! Oh my gosh! Where the heck is Joey?!'
Ronnie wanted to start crying. Even though this wasn't he world she was feeling a whole bunch if pressure. And she was worried about Joey. She couldn't hold all the tears any longer. She hadn't cried in years she had to get it out. She cried.
"Who's in here?!"
Ronnie tried to run but the giant saw her. He grabbed Ronnie and brought her to his face.
"Well look who it is, Princess veronica, welcome" he had a evil grin on his face and put Ronnie in a bird cage.
