ONE MONTHS LATER
"You got that last box Joey?"
"Sure do!"
"Awesome"
They did it. They got their own apartment. it needed some fixing but other than that it was perfect. A kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two bathrooms and two separate bedrooms. Sure they were dating but not sleeping together!
"So how did your parents take the idea of moving out?"
"Hard. what about your aunt?"
"She LOVED the idea! when i told her she instantly said 'great! it would make a great room for Fernando's weights, but i think they will just use it for their sex room."
"Eeeeewwwwwww!!!!!"
"I know."
"Hey, Happy 19th birthday! now make a wish BEFORE i give you 19 punches!"
She brought out a cake that looked like Grover from sesame street, he was Joey's favourite.
"Alright alright but remember, you birthday is in a couple of days so if you punch me hard i punch you twice as hard!"
"Haha ya ya"
Joey made his wish and blew out the candles.
"So what was your wish?"
"Its a secret"
"Tell me!"
"Alright i will make you a deal, i will tell you on your birthday! Deal?"
"Uhhh fine deal!"
"Oh shoot we are almost late for school!"
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh why did you have to remind me?!?!"
"Cause i love it when you are tortured. "
They both laughed and left the building. The got in Joey's car and went to school.
"Hi Joey! i was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?"
"Stephanie please just drop it!"
"Not a chance mr! you and i will have a beautiful family together!"
"Well Stephanie you better back off 'cause he is taken"
"Ya? by who?"
"Me"
All of a sudden everyone rushing to class stopped. They all stared at Ronnie and Joey. There were a lot of whispers and gasps.
"Ya you heard right! me and Ronnie are dating!"
"But Joey! we were supposed to have a family together! 7 of each!"
"Stephanie there isn't even 3"
"But out Ronnie! you have made this much worse that it had to be!"
"Alright we beed to get to class. Come one Ronnie"
Joey grabbed Ronnie's hand and pulled her through the still time frozen crowd. Then there was an announcement over the intercom.
"There will be an emergency assembly. please all students and staff attend. I repeat, emergency assembly. All students and staff please attend."
"I guess no french"
"And no spanish"
They went to the assembly and they took their seats.
"Good morning students"
it was mr gawdahaly (god-a-hay-ley) the principal of the high school.
"Today i break some terrible news. someone has discovered termites in the walls. It is only a matter of time before the school clasps over our heads."
*gasps*
"I know its a tragedy. And it takes a while to rebuild a whole high school so we will shut down for the rest of the school year. Next year or the year after it will be up and running again. I am so sorry. You are dismissed to go to your homes."
Some teachers were crying. Some were smiling. Most were cheering. Especially the kids. They were all cheering their butts off!
"Hey Ronnie, lets ditch this place!"
" Haha yes! i have been waiting for this day my entire life! and guess what? too late! there won't be a next year for us!"
"I have never seen you so happy about school before Ron!"
"Joey i told you. I am not a guy so don't call me Ron!"
"Well thats just payback foe you calling me Jo!"
"When did i ever do that?"
"McDonalds"
"Ah yes i remember"
"Well lets go already!"
"Ya!"
The two of them ran out to Joeys car and went to McDonalds, to celebrate.
"Hi welcome to McDonalds what can i get for you?"
"Yes two happy meals on boy one girl and for drinks two coke mixed with dr pepper please"
"Hahahahaha alright drive up"
they drove up to the first window to pay and then they went to the second window for the food.
"Here you go" they handed Joey the food.
"Ya are you the one that laughed at me?"
"Ya"
"Well that is extremely rude. I would like you to apologize to my girlfriend and i"
"Im sorry you are such weirdos"
"Thank you now have a terrible day"
Joey drove off.
"What was that all about?"
"Sarcasm"
"oh thank goodness! i thought you were going all over protective on me!"
"You will never have to worry about that!"
"Why?"
"Well, you did slay a 50 foot dragon in one swing"
"Ha ha very funny"
"Hey you can't blame me! you are the one who opened the book in the first place!"
"I know i know. Hey speaking of books..."
"We will go to the library friday. Our usual library day"
"But we have no books! i am suffering here!"
"Your birthday is in to days. You never know what you will get."
"Ok ok. Hey we should surprise your parents! it is your birthday i bet they would love to see you! mondays are tough you know?"
"Alright alright"
They drove to Joey's parents house and rang the doorbell. The door opened. It was Joeys dad.
"Joey! my son! happy birthday my boy!"
"Thanks dad"
"Honey get over here! its Joey!"
All of a sudden you would here a bunch of footsteps and see Joey's mom standing at the door. Instantly she gave him a hug.
"My boy!"
"Hi mom"
"Hello Ronnie!"
"Hi Tim!"
"Oh hello my dear Ronnie!"
"Hi Margret!"
"Please come in! i was just making some Grover cookies!"
"Awe thanks mom your the best!"
"Anything for my boy."
Joey smiled.
So they ate cookies, they talked and they laughed. Then Ronnie and Joey left.
