You're Not Alone

Chapter three: the friend

Peridot decided that the second day of school wouldn't be half as bad as the first one. She had already met people she seemed to get along with and people who she definitely didn't. One of those people happened to be jasper. Jasper had called peridot a nerd and threw balls of paper at peridot during the one and only class they had together. Not to mention she saw jasper hit lapis before lunch yesterday. Peri sighed. She sorted through her locker as lapis approached her locker. Peridot looked over and saw lapis open her locker. Lapis accidentally opened it with the wrong hand. Peridot immediately noticed and grabbed lapis' hand. "What did you do?!?" Peridot cried. "Ummm I uh..." Lapis didn't know what to say. "Lapis, Why would you cut yourself?!?" Peridot asked still in shock." I-I... I can't tell you!" Lapis said. "Why not? Aren't I your friend?" Peridot cried (like literally cried)
"We're Friends?" Asked lapis. She had never had anyone call her their friend
"Of course! You seem really nice and all and I thought that well..." Peridot said wiping her tears from her eyes. "Fine I'll tell you, but not now later." Said lapis. She was nervous. What if peridot didn't want to be her friend in fear that jasper would do the same to her?
All she could do was hope.
