Chapter one: The Introduction

Peridot stood silently. Her hands trembled. She was about to face her greatest fear. High School. The short fourteen year old closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She walked up the concrete stairs to the doorway to hell. She opened the door and discovered the horrific scene. Everyone was cursing, screaming, Making out, reading, or texting. All of this combined made the world's noisiest hallway of all time. She walked in, even though every part of her was screaming to run in the opposite direction. The puny freshman walked up to her locker #712 a girl with electric blue hair was at the one next to her's. "H-hi," said Peridot as she approached the the tall girl. "Hi," said the girl. "My name is Peridot. What's y-your's?" She asked cautiously. "My name is Lapis, Lapis Lazuli," the girl said," Nice to meet you Peridot." Lapis smiled down at Peridot. Peridot could tell Lapis was nervous as well by the way she shook as she closed her locker. "I've got to go see you around!" Lapis said and scurried off. Peridot sighed. She slipped her folders in her locker keeping the one's she needed out and went to class.
