August 6th: 5 Things I Like About Myself

Oops I'm starting to get behind but y'all are all too sweet to try and kill me or something.

I really hate talking about what I like about myself because I don't want to seem narcissistic... But I guess I gotta do this since I've already kinda cheated my way through one of them lol.

Alright *sigh*.

Is this mostly physical or like personality? Idk... Ugh I'll go w both?

1) My Eyes

Idk why, but I love my eyes. I mean, I do wish they were blue (it is possible given my genes) but I do like the hazel tint to them. Idk. If there is any facial feature that I like a lot it would be my eyes. I guess it also helps that I've gotten pretty good at winged eyeliner and own like 5 eyeshadow pallets lol.

Ugh I feel like I'm making this awkward already.

2) Kindness (?)

I like to think that I'm a nice person and I do everything I can to make others feel welcome and at home and comfortable. I guess I'd have to say that's my defining quality? Idk... Sometimes I can get myself into bad situations because I have trouble saying 'no' (or 'yes' when it involves someone else's help or like being offered food and whatnot) and I feel like it annoys my friends sometimes? Like I'll invite someone to sit with us without second though and it goes terribly wrong lol. I like being nice though.

3) My Intelligence

I'm a total nerd but I don't really care haha. I've only gotten a B in two classes (one in elementary and the other one was an online class in middle school BUT WAS SO STUPID BECAUSE I GOT A 90 WHICH SHOULD BE AN A UGH they didn't put it in my gpa though). Sometimes I feel awkward about my grades though because not everyone in my class has straight A's. I go to a 'smart' school, but only a small percentage of my grade has all As most have As and Bs. I still feel awkward about my grades all the time though...

4)  My Nails?

Okay I've run out of things and this is officially awkward. Idk??? I like that they grow fast and don't really chip? I mean the nail polish chips but they don't???

5) The Colour of my Hair

Okay I found another one. My hair is like a medium colored brown that some golden tints to it. And it gets highlights in the sun super easily. I've always wondered what it would look like if I was blonde, and sometimes complain about how boring my hair colour is, but I actually like it TBH. I really like it and the more I think about it, the more I realize how stupid it would be to dye my hair blonde because the brown looks just fine the way it is.

Alright. Just one more awkward one and in don't with awkwardness for a while.
