August 9th: Three Qualities I Respect

Alright. I respect a lot of qualities but I guess that these are my favorite? Basically, this is what I look for in a potential boyfriend lol.

1) Honesty

This is probably the most important. Even if it's as simple as 'who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?' If you're not honest about small things, how can I know you're not lying to me with the big things. Of course, I respect 'lying' for someone's benefit, like not spilling a secret or saying that your mom isn't home when a sales person comes to the door or something as silly as that. But if I ask a straightforward question, I expect an honest answer. And, you can expect the same from of. (However sometimes I kinda sugar-coat things because I don't want to hurt feelings but if you want the brutal truth then I guess I can do that even if it hurts feelings lol)

2) Kindness

If you bully people, I want to like, I don't know, push you in a locker or something. I love it so much when people hold the door open for others for no other reason than just to do something nice. Or, randomly complementing someone without expecting a compliment in return. Or helping someone who is struggling. It just means the world to me when I see someone smile because of kindness, especially when the other person doesn't do it to get something in return.

3) Respect

One of my hugest pet peeves is when people don't know their place and automatically assume huge leadership roles when they're brand new. So when people respect those who are older, wiser, stronger, and higher in leadership, I love it a lot. I also like it when people respect and love themselves. Of course, I don't mean to the point of arrogance or narcissism, but a respect for they way they look and act.

So I guess this whole thing doubles as the whole things I look for in a soul mate thing haha.

So I'm still on track! Hopefully this keeps up lol.
