America sat down munching on a burger like always. you giggled as he did so. then suddenly he sighed. you cocked your head.

" what's wrong Al?" you asked him. he looked up at the clouds.

" well ya know..veterans day and all." he says. you nod. Alfred was always sad on this day. even on independence day too. you pat his back.

" aw, I'm sorry Alfie." you said. he smirks.

" ya don't have to be." he says. you only smile.

" will buying more burgers make you feel better?" you asked. and then he said something you never thought you would ever hear.

" not today." he said. you gasped.

" what happened to you Al?" you asked. he smirked.

" I just don't wanna eat okay?" he chuckled. you blush. he blushes too.

" but...uh.wanna know what will make me happy?" he smiled. you cock your head.

"what?" you asked and he pulls you to his chest, holding you closely.

" if you became my girlfriend."
