I looked up, through my bangs into his now soft eyes and sobbed out a "Okay". His lips turned into a small smile and while he took away my tears with his soft thumbs, he softly kissed my forehead.

Like the old Levi..

 I don't know how long we've been on the road already but I woke up to the ringtone Sweat by Snoop Dogg ft. David Guetta. Levi licked his bottom lip and clicked on speaker so he could go on driving.

"Yeah?"

"Levi?"

"Yeah?" he asked again more impatiently.

"Where are you? We're waiting for you and it's been 2 hours!"

"Just outside of Atlanta! Why? Who's already there?"

"Everyone man! Wait a second-"

"I gotta go man see-"

"Nah your father just arrived!"

My eyes shot open and a shriek came out of my mouth.

"Perfect. We'll be there in about 10, kay?"

"Right see you!"

He clicked the red button and his warm hand went up my thigh, slowling drawing circles with his thumb.

"You okay, honey?"

"Why is he here?" I whispered while bitting my lower lip. That man, if you could call him one, was and is the most unpredictable person on the earth.

"Business babe! Nothing to worry about!"

"But.. But he.."

"He what Zoé?" He sighed angrily. Levi hated the relationship I had with his father. I despised him but I had my reasons for it.. Before I even knew Levi his father blackmailed my Dad and he did go so far my Dad had to spend 4 weeks in hospital because he made his 'employees' beat him up. There were even more things he did to us but I tried to keep them out of my head.

"You know exactly what he did!"

"He had a reason to."

"He what?" I turned around in my face to face his figure. I was fuming with anger right now.

"He had a reason to and you know it! Your father had money and-"

"You know that you always had enough money and your greedy Dad couldn't wait for his money-"

"He. Is. Not. Greedy. Just a good businessman!"

"You don't know what he did to me.." I muttered to myself and luckily Levi hadn't caught it. I was  sick of arguing about our fathers I had to face Spike anyway.

The rest of our ride was quiet and I enjoyed the beautifu view of Atlanta. The cars were covered in thick layers of pearl white snow, there were children playing outside, building snowmen and elder people carrying home their groceries for christmas. You could see families decorating their houses with colored lights and putting huge Santas and reindeers in their front yards. It was simply beautiful and so much more calm and intimate than in New York. I wish I could move here..

"Do you like it here?"

"Hm.. It's pretty lonely compared to New York.." I sighed a dreamy sigh and was forced to look at him when the car stopped i front of a normal single family home. No big mansion with expensive cars. Nothing. Just a normal suburban home.
