Chapter 5

It was the last day of school and for once I was sad to leave. Which was weird then I realised why, i had made a lot of new friends and was afraid they wouldn't be here next year which made no sense.

I went out to the cut and started to smoke a cigarette while I waited for Micah to pick me up but of course he came with someone else, and in my seat no less. He got to where I was standing and he told her to move, smart idea. I threw my bag in the trunk and introduced myself, well at least tried to. I never did figure out who she was but we dropped her off and then went to my house and watched Netflix and played COD. Usually we watch movies together without being real close to each other but today was different.

There was definitely something going on here but at the moment I really didn't care, he was being really sweet and had all my favorite foods and drinks set out for me. It wasn't until he pulled me closer to cuddle I realised what was going on. This was a date. I did not care one bit though I've always had these feeling for Micah that I could never deny, the way he smelled, his hugs, his smile, his eyes, his laugh, he looked at me made my stomach all fuzzy was that what butterflies in your stomach felt like? Either way I liked it.

When silent hill was over I looked up at him to ask what movie we should play next but before I could say a word he planted a kiss on me. A kiss, not just any kiss though. It was sweet, gentle, and almost innocent. When he parted his face from mine he looked in my eyes then down at his hands and back to my eyes. then I saw that gleam in his eyes, the look you get when just in a moment or simple gesture you realise that you've met the one, an then I knew from that moment on I was falling for my best friend.
