Chapter 10

Ryah's point of view

It only took me two weeks to find Josh, but when I did I didnt Even have to update him on anything. But he knew where Stark was.

We took the next flight out to Brisbane Australia, we should've known he was here. Once we get to the airport we're both taken down by someone. before I could even charge my powers I recognise the scent. Before I could even stop myself I pushed him off me and tackled him to the ground. I haven't seen Francis in years, but it was good to see him. Once we got off the floor and away from the looks and stares we got in the car and went to his house.

I turned my phone off airplane mode to be attacked with 400+ texts from mom, Janise, and unfucktionately (unfortunately but worse) Micah. I replied to mom and Janise but left him in the dark. I didn't tell him I was leaving let alone did I care about him anymore. He betrayed me, now he's getting the cold shoulder.

We reached Francis' house and the smell of a home cooked meal reached my nose and I began drooling. I immediately ran I to the kitchen to give him mom and brothers Brandon and Ross a hug. Over dinner we all caught up, and I found out that I missed Brandon's wedding. Good news though is that they're having their renewal vows this weekend and I get to sing for them.

After dinner we all went down to the beach for a swim and a walk. Half way through the walk we got a call from his mom. We ran back to the house In 20mins which should have really been an hour

walk. Once we reached the house I broke down in tears at the sight I saw.
