Chapter 8- The Sound Of A Gun

Luna's Pov: 

After the beach we decided to go back to the house to open the presents. 

We get there and begin to open the presents. Some people gave her pairs of earrings because she has like a million ear piercings. Other people gave her candy. Kellin gave her a coffee cup that has a sugar skull on it. Which was perfect because she loves coffee and sugar skulls. Next it was my turn to give her her presents. 

"My turn!" I say and run to our room to get it. 

"Okay so open this one last" I say while pointing to a large box "And open this one second to last last" I say while pointing to a small box.

"Okay." she says while grabbing a box and putting the boxes I pointed to the side.  

She begins to open the biggest box. It's a easel. Her face lights up.

"Thank you so much! I needed a new one really bad." she says while engulfing me in a hug. 

Then she starts to open a package that had multiple layers. They are different sized canvas. 

"Haha you're buying all the expensive stuff for me." she says while putting them to the side.

Next she grabs a box that was a set of oil paints. She once again thanks me and grabs the next box which is the one I told her to open next to last. It's two rings that are a infinity sign.

"They match our tattoo!" She says while happily putting the ring on and handing me the other.

Then she grabs that last box and unwraps it. In it is another wrapped box. In that is another. She continues to unwrap the many boxes until she gets to the last box. 

"Finally!" she opens it and sees a envelope. She opens the envelope and reads it to herself. When she finishes her face lights up and she turns to me. 

"OH MY GOD REALLY?!?!?!" she says while waiting for my response. I nod my head and she stands up and hugs me. 

"Wait what was it???" Austin says and everyone joins in and says "yeah tell us". 

Before I can reply Natalie announces what the letter was.

"Well it's a long story but Luna and I have always wanted to get a cat together and this letter says that Luna adopted a cat and it's waiting for us to pick it up!!"

"What are you going to name it?" Kellin asks. Natalie and I already know the answer.

"Sir Fluffernut." we say at the same time. 

Everyone looks confused but they laugh.

"We made up that name in 6th grade." Natalie responds. Everyone nods their head indicating they understand.  

"So when can we pick it up?" she asks looking eager. 

"Tomorrow morning." I respond.

"Okay well can we get dinner or something?" she asks me. 

"Sure where do you want to go?" I ask her.

"Vic is there any good italian places around here?" she asks turning to Vic.

"I've got just the place." he says while grinning. 

Then we all get into the car and drive to the italian place.

Luna's Pov: *2 HOURS LATER*   

"That was soooo good." Natalie says happily.

"Well I'm glad your happy." I say. We all laugh and walk together. I walk next to Vic with our hands laced together. We were having a great time till we heard a scream then a gunshot. I turn around and see that Natalie is no longer beside Kellin. I suddenly grow very scared and anxious. I break away from Vic and run down the sidewalk and stop at a alleyway where I heard the scream come from.
