Jimin's P.O.V.

Yoongi was sitting next to me, his head resting on my shoulder as he slept soundly. I looked over at him, carefully scrutinizing the cuts and bruises along his face.

When I get my hands on Namjoon, I swear I'm gonna-

My thoughts were interrupted by a deafening alarm. The lights in the building began glowing red, indicating an emergency, and the siren pounded into my eardrums. I looked around panicked for any exits, but the only way out was the large iron door.

Quickly running over to it, I turned the handle, only to find the door locked. Taking a deep breath I backed away and ran full speed into the frame, hoping to break the door down. As soon as my shoulder made contact with the iron I fell backwards, wincing in pain.

We were trapped in here, without any clue as to what the hell was going on outside. I looked over at Yoongi who was slowly waking up.

"What the hell is going on?" He asked, rubbing at his face.

"I don't know, but we're trapped in here." I sighed out as I walked over and sat down next to Yoongi. I felt his hand begin rubbing at my back awkwardly, and I smiled lightly at his attempt to comfort me.

"Don't worry Chim. We're gonna be ok."

Kylie's P.O.V.

Before heading inside, our group of five decided to split into two smaller groups:

The first group- Hobi, Nikki, and Ravs- were going to cover the ground floor.

The second group- Jungkook and me- were going to look around the basement.

I had protested, wanting Jungkook and Hoseok to stick together, but the two refused, claiming it would be safer this way.

Now, I stood huddled with the other fighters, watching Jungkook as he walked towards the door. He looked over at me and smiled before taking a big breath and focusing himself.

"On the count of three. One...Two...Three."

And with that, Jungkook rammed into the door with his shoulder, knocking it out of its frame. We all quickly ran inside, Ryan's men already shooting at us as we did so. One woman cried out in pain and clutched at her shoulder, which had been grazed by a bullet. An older man fell to the floor as another bullet hit his leg.

I ran inside, shooting into the crowd of guards. I felt a hand grab my leg, and I glanced down to find Jungkook. I crouched down behind the office desk he was using as cover and reloaded my gun.

"I found the basement stairway." He said, his voice barely audible over the exchange of bullets.

"Let's get moving then. I'll follow behind." I said, peaking my head over the desk and taking out another guard. Jungkook counted down and then began running from the office desk, me trailing closely behind. One of the guards noticed the movement and aimed his gun in our direction. I was about to fire back when I saw Hobi, his knife plunging into the man's throat. He smiled and waved me away as Jungkook grabbed my hand and pulled me down the basement stairs.

As soon as we reached the basement, an ear-piercing alarm spread throughout the building.

"Jungkook! I thought you said you disabled that thing!" I teased.

"To be honest, I had no fucking clue what I was doing. It did make me seem badass though." He said, winking at me.

We fell silent as we focused on the sounds in the hallway and checking rooms. The occasional guard would pop up here or there, but the hall was mainly empty. I moved to the next door, quickly pushing it open and aiming my gun as I scanned. I froze when I saw two people sitting on the floor in front of me, both badly beaten and bruised.

"Kylie, what's wrong?" Jungkook asked as he walked up behind me. "Are you-" His sentence trailed off as his gaze followed mine. He immediately ran over to the two boys, tears falling down his face.

"Jimin! Yoongi! Thank god you two are ok. I was so worried about you. I-" Jungkook trailed off, his voice breaking as he allowed himself to cry out in relief.

I smiled to myself as I watched the three boys reunite. The joy and relief on each of their faces knowing the others were alright was heartwarming. They truly were a family.

"What a touching reunion." I heard a voice mock from behind me, interrupting my thoughts. I turned around and was face to face with a man in his twenties. He had a large scar over one of his eyes and tattoos covered his entire body.

It was Ryan.

Taehyung's P.O.V.

"What the hell do you mean she can't stay?" I shouted at Jin.

"We already fucked enough up by letting Kylie and Ravs into our lives, and now you wanna add a random child into the mix?" He calmly shot back.

"She's not some random child Jin! I was trapped in an arena with her for hours, putting my life on the line to save her! She was the only thing that got me to fight! Without her I wouldn't be here!" I yelled, my voice threatening to break at any moment if I gave in to the tears welling up in my eyes.

"It doesn't matter Taehyung! Don't you see? You're putting others before your family again- just like you always do." He spat out.

My jaw dropped and I looked at him in awe, chuckling to myself at the nerve Jin had.

"I'm the one that always puts others before their family? Last time I checked you were screwing Hobi's sister. But you're right. I'm sure you were just thinking about what was best for the family when you were getting boned!"

The room fell deadly silent. We stood there, both in awe of everything we had said to each other. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and turned my head to find Namjoon entering the living room.

"So what's the plan?" He asked, smiling. When both of us glared at him his smile immediately fell.

I pushed past Namjoon and walked out of the room, making my way to the stairs. I walked up them and headed to the office. I opened the door and found Alaina curled up in the desk chair, quietly sobbing to herself.

"Alaina! What's wrong?" I asked, quickly kneeling down in front of her.

"Your friend said I had to leave. Taehyung I don't have anywhere to go. And you promised I wouldn't have to." She cried out. I pulled her tightly into me and rubbed at her back.

"And I'm keeping that promise. You're staying here. Don't worry." I said, trying to reassure her, but the crying didn't stop. "Alaina is something else wrong...?" I asked concerned.

She nodded her head.

"That boy, Namjoon, he's the one who killed my parents four years ago."
