A/N: This chapter is seriously the longest one I've ever done, but I felt bad for not updating for A FREAKING WEEK. Sorry about that. Anyone hope you enjoy and don't get too bored.

Jungkook's P.O.V.

I watched Taehyung closely as his eyes began to flutter open, his body shifting as he attempted to become more comfortable on the storage boxes he was sprawled out across. He slowly sat up, slightly wincing in pain when his injured shoulder brushed against the wall. I felt the small figure besides me push past my legs, practically sprinting towards Taehyung. In a second she was seated next to him, her arms carefully draped around him to avoid the bullet wounds.

"Alaina! You're ok! Oh god what happened? Did they hurt you?" I stood to the side, smiling as I watched Taehyung check up on the girl. Seeing the two of them together was nice- he seemed happy to have Alaina around, and she looked so calm and relaxed around Taehyung. I hated that both of them had to experience the game my sick father created, but I was glad they had at least found each other.

"I'm fine Taehyung. You worry too much." Alaina whined out, and I held back my laughter. The two really did seem to have a father-daughter relationship.

"Do you know where we are?" Taehyung asked, his eyes still glued to the girl and completely oblivious to my presence. I decided it was time to make myself known, despite the possibility that Taehyung was still furious with me over the whole Jimin situation.

"We're in Ryan's hideout." I said hesitantly, instantly gaining the attention of the two.

In a second, Taehyung was on his feet, quickly striding towards me. Instinctively I took a step back and closed my eyes, preparing myself for the inevitable blow. He had every right to be angry. I was a jerk back at the house, choosing Kylie over Jimin. It shouldn't have even been a choice- but something about her...

I was surprised when I felt nothing but a pair of arms embrace me tightly. It took me a moment to realize what was happening, but once I did, I was hugging the man back as well.

"Jungkook-ah. I'm so sorry about everything. I missed you so much. God, if something would have happened to you, I'd never be able to forgive myself." He murmured out against my shoulder as he squeezed me even tighter, practically suffocating me from the hug. I smiled, just appreciating that the man before me was alive and here, with me.

"No, I'm sorry Tae. I screwed everything up- family should always come first. You've always been there for me, more than anyone else, and I let a stranger come between us. And just imagining you fighting in there, fighting for your life because I was a selfish idiot, it just makes me-" My rambling was cut off by a pair of lips abruptly meeting mine. My eyes widened, but I couldn't bring myself to pull away. In the moment, if just felt... right.

"Oh...Um... I'm sorry, I don't- I don't know what that was." Taehyung stuttered out, his cheeks flushing a deep red. I could feel mine heating as well as I turned my attention towards the floor.

"Yeah it was... I don't know... I mean it wasn't bad... It was just..."

"No, no it wasn't bad... I mean not that I liked it or..."

"Aww you guys are cute! Taehyung oppa, you didn't tell me Jungkook was your boyfriend!" Alaina chimed out, giggling quietly to herself. Taehyung and I looked at each other, eyes wide and faces flushed, as we both quickly began denying everything. Alaina seemed extremely amused and wasn't buying any of it.

"Don't worry. I'll keep it secret!" She cutely promised, extending her pinky finger into the air. Taehyung knelt down and interlocked his with hers, the two smiling widely at each other. I let out a sigh of relief, internally cursing myself for not pulling away... and for liking it.
