My Silence

Some people come in your life as smiles,
Suppressed giggles,
Hushed words,
Echoing whispers.
But when they leave a silence is left
Thick and viscous
Bothering yet content
Silent but loud
They take away that smile, that giggle which had a unique sound to their presence
They take away hushed words that meant so much without even moving lips
They take away those whispers that used to echo around the mind all day long
But the silence is left
Unique and exclusive to their Absence
Even when I will find far more reasons to laugh in my coming life, those smiles, giggles, words and whispers will never be the same
They cease to exist without that one pulsating sphere of being, that cannot be replaced
And it stays with me like silence
Distant and heavy
But still peaceful.
