Get in the Ring

Quint had been forced (Forlorn had practically picked him up and bought him here) to come and watch the fight between Perky and Passive. Forlorn looked incredibly bored, as if she already knew the outcome of this event. Quint leaned his head ever so slightly over her shoulder and asked "Do you know who'll win?"
Forlorn nodded, but said nothing. Quint stepped back, the strong scent of soap and baby powder coming from Forlorn stinging his his nose. Why she smelt like baby powder, Quint really didn't want to know.
Forlorn stepped forward into the centre of the ring. Perky was standing on one side if the ring and Passive opposite her. They were murmuring things to each other, and giving each other glares (although Perky's glares looked more like evil grins) but as soon as Forlorn raised her hand, they stopped immediately and stood up straight, preparing to go in and fight.
While keeping her hand raised, Forlorn began saying the rules, although Quint believed it was more for his sake than anyone else's.
"You're lucky I wasn't sleeping in today because otherwise one of you would probably have no head by now." She sighed, "I suppose then I have to umpire this fight when I really just want to go read my book. Anyways, you both know the rules, seeing as the last time we did this was only like about a fortnight ago. But anyway, the rules are simple. No weapons. No stopping for breaks. And finally, the fight finished only when one is a the other's mercy and that they are willing to beg for it. That is the only way the fight ends." All the while Forlorn kept her hand up, and it seemed to be the only thing from stopping the two dolls on either side of her from pouncing.
Still keeping that hand up, she stepped out of the ring and bought it down almost too quickly for Quint to see. The second it was down, Perky and Passive jumped into the ring and began wrestling each other, both of them gripping each other's biceps holding them in a steady position where neither of them could let go, or the other would topple them over.
Quint watched in silence, thinking perhaps it's not as bad as he first thought. But then there was a gasp and Perky suddenly fell backwards after Passive had swiped her leg around the back of Perky's knees, causing them to collapse underneath her. Passive then went and dived, elbow first, aiming for Perky's stomach. Perky rolled to the side, dodging Passive's attack. Passive cried out, whether in pain or in annoyance, Quint was unsure. Perky was up now and she jumped on top of Passive, wrapping her arms around Passive's neck. Passive threw herself up, Perky still holding on and choking her, and staggered backwards. With a squeak of surprise from Perky, Passive jumped backwards, landing on her back with Perky underneath. Perky groaned (in what Quint thought was either pain or a pretence of pain as he wasn't entirely sure if these people could feel pain) and Passive stood up in a triumphant matter, then grabbed Perky's legs and threw her to the other side of the ring. Perky growled, (although she was still smiling) and leaped ferociously onto Passive, sinking her teeth into the larger doll's arm. Deep scarlet blood pooled out around the teeth marks and Passive cried out in anguish. In retaliation for the bite, Passive grabbed Perky's hand then used it to twist her arm around, so quickly that she dislocated Perky's shoulder. Perky screamed in agony and pain, (Quint was almost certain this time that it was actually pain) and with her other hand she gripped her shoulder. While both of her opponent's hands were disabled, Passive kicked out hard into Perky's shins and Quint winced as he heard a crack. Perky cried out again and before she fell to the floor, she used her uninjured arm to punch Passive in the nose and Quint wince once more as he heard another crack. Passive yelled out, more in anger than in pain as Perky lost the last of her strength and fell to the floor. Passive however, must have not noticed her now crooked nose as she picked Perky up and kicked her in the stomach. Perky groaned again but she still said nothing. She got up and made a weak attempt at punching, even through her dislocated shoulder. It hit Passive, much harder than Quint expected, hard enough in fact to maybe even bowl him over. But Passive didn't even flinch. Her eyes just burned into Perky it was as if and were trying to burn a hole right through Perky's forehead using her eyes. She pulled out a dagger, (from god knows where) and pushed Perky down onto the floor. She pounced then, so swiftly Quint couldn't see it,  but the next thing he knew, she was in top of Perky, holding her dagger high and then bought it down, right into Perky's dislocated shoulder.
Perky screamed in pain. Passive pulled the dagger out, then bought it down once more into Perky's other shoulder. Perky screamed again. Blood oozed from the two wounds and began pooling on the floor in two small puddles.
"This is for burning my book!"  screamed in fury and buried the dagger in Perky's stomach then tore it out again.
"This is for being an idiot!"
Passive cried out in anger and buried the dagger in Perky's knee.
"And this is to remind you never to touch my stuff!" The fury on Passive's face terrified Quint so much he took a step back and stumble. Forlorn looked over at him in a strange way.
There was a scream from Perky and Quint looked over to see that the dagger was in her other knee now. Passive stood up and stepped away, expecting the plea for mercy coming from Perky.
But Perky sat up, and pulled the dagger out of her knee. She feebly then stood up and Quint could see how much effort it took for her to do this.
She threw the dagger and it landed in Passive's chest, missing her heart but delivering the message just the same.
"That is for being over dramatic and for throwing a tantrum." Perky said and with that she collapsed to the floor.
"Mercy," she coughed, or more like wheezed, and somewhere along the line, she must have bitten her lip as there was blood dripping down her chin, making her terrifyingly pretty face look deadlier.
Passive nodded slowly. "Don't... Don't you ever... ever touch my books again." She threatened, breathing heavily.
Quint looked to and from the two dolls, and realised that these were not only insane people, but they were extremely dangerous people. And he wasn't sure who to be more afraid of. So he decided he'd start with Passive.
Wondering what Forlorn's take on this event was, he looked over at her. She was still looking extremely bored, but as Quint stared closer, he could see the tiniest, tiniest amount of amusement in her eyes.
