"Yes, sir, we're almost there. ... No problem, I got about 7 men that'll keep their eyes peeled for anythin' fishy. ... No one's gettin' to her I can assure you. Yeah. ... Well that's just around her, we got the rest posted outside as usual. ... Hershey's? Uh, I- Oh, ha definitely, Boss. ... Two cases in the trunk, and I got anotha' load followin' us. ... Yes, sir. ... Yes, sir, will do."

I crossed my legs and tapped my manicured nails on the nude-colored leather seats of the Escalade. Tony heard my tapping and he cleared his throat after hanging up his phone. The cold AC blasting and the click of the sleep button on his iPhone were all that could be heard.

"Er- Ms. Quinn, Boss said he's going to be running late and that he'll be joinin' us shortly."

That's right, he told me he was bringin' a friend with him! This should be fun.
"Mhmm," I replied, looking down at my nails.

I inspected my nails until my eyes diverted to the tattoos on my thighs. The tattoo on my left stood out amongst the rest:
I'LL WAIT FOREVER

An' I kept my promise, toots.

I remembered what it was like waiting for him. It wasn't anything like now of course, but when I was all alone in that god forsaken cell, I dreamed of doing exactly this again. Something as simple as going with Daddy J to another business meeting. Just as long as I was with him, that's all that mattered.

I looked out my window as soon as I felt the vehicle come to a complete stop. We were right in front of a large building with bright blue neon lights that lined the building's trim. Tony got out and circled around the vehicle to open my door. I felt the bass of the music through the bottom of my heels as soon as they touched the cement. A man walked up to me from my left and slightly bowed his head before speaking.

"Ms. Quinn, you'll be directed inside where you'll meet Mr. Ross and his entourage."

I smirked at the man and placed my hand on his shoulder; my bracelets jingling down my forearm. He stood in place still smiling, but a hint of fear sparkled in his eyes upon my touch.

"I know who my man does business with, sweet cheeks. You work 'ere?" I asked nonchalantly, observing my surroundings.

"Y-yes Ms. Quinn, I work for Mr. Ross," he replied nervously but still managed to keep a smile across his face.

I smiled back at him for trying to keep it together.
Hah, Pussycat.
"Well, let's get goin' then!"

He nodded his head and I looked back at Tony, who was watching another Escalade pull up behind ours. I knew it was our boys, so I turned back and continued to follow the man ahead of me. We were heading towards black French doors and I saw that there was already another man waiting for our arrival.

"Ms. Quinn, welcome," greeted the man at the door.

"Well thank ya', Mr. Doorman," I giggled, as he opened the right door. "Whoaaa!"

The exquisite room I just walked into would've been dark if it weren't for the neon lighting on the wall and the flashing lights in every corner. My escort lead me to a dark purple booth way in the back that was covered by sequined drapes and caution tape.
