Maya's pov
I climbed into Riley's window and sat on the bay window
"Maya I have to ask you something" Riley said right when I sat down I looked at her
" anything you want"
" you might not like it maya"
"Anything you want Riley "
" I want to change the bay window " I stop talking and glare at her
" you are not changing this window,"
"Maya where going to be in high school where changing this room this is little girls I'm changing and so does the bay window"
I stand up from the window
" you are not changing this window end of story Riley " I said almost yelling
" it's my room maya" she said standing up
" what about the way the sun comes in and hits the pillows and makes them warm " I say taking a seat on the bay window
" or when farkle comes in and says ladies aren't you going to miss that" and right on Que. farkle comes through the window
" hi guys" he says
" farkle what do you think about when your thinking about high school"
" it means where changing,
Our bodies are changing our feelings judgement our looks and interests" he says basically proving Riley's point and a little later
Lucas comes through Riley's other window and sits next her
" what's happening?"
" Riley wants to Change the bay window" I said to Lucas answering his question
30minutes later
I help Riley put the last throw pillow on the bay window
" are you still upset at me for changing the bay window?
Riley asked sitting down and putting a hand on my shoulder
I shake my head and sit down besides her
" no I'm not as long as I have you by my side "
I put my hand up with my finger
"Thunder "
Riley puts her finger next to mine
"Lightning" I pull Riley into a tight hug
Riley let's go of the hug and asked me
" maya are you scared about starting high school? "
"No Riley I'm not as long as I have you by my side"
Riley nods her head
"Same"
" so how are you and mason?
" great we are doing great "
" what's up with you and Lucas?"
" just friends
