Destined to Battle

Day 5

          "Okay, we are here." They looked around and saw the mountain of death - dark, so dark, it was darker than black; just a big mess of nothingness. At the top, though, you could see a glow from the lava that was within the volcano. "So, that's where we are going?" Arek, as the others had nicknamed him, because his name was just a mouthful, asked. "You can stay behind if you want, you big chicken." said Rangiku. "No, I'm just getting my facts straight, after all you're the chicken," said Arek, who started clicking at her. "ENOUGH! Fine Arek, but if you lose your life, it is not my fault." "I won't die."
          With that, they began climbing the volcano and when they reached the top, they saw a man's silhouette in front of the lava. The man wore a cloak made of molten lava and a black suit and tie. Turning around, he said in a deep, mighty voice, "So, I see you have finally made it, Kaiba-kun1️⃣." "Yeah, Senpai2️⃣... And, now that I am here, this is where you die." The ninja ran at the lava-cloaked man with shurikens and kunai knives. Arek started to follow them when Riko yelled at him, "You can't fight!" "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I CAN DO!" Arekusandā yelled in a monstrous voice. Jumping to join his friends and comrades in battle, Arek transformed3️⃣. In one moment's time, he gained fangs and claws, stronger than steel, and nine red tails. He dropped down to all fours and growled at the man in the black suit. The ninja tried not to be alarmed by Arek's new form and continued to fight the now-hardened man. "Die, Mennen Laba-senpai!" Kaiba-sensei yelled. With that, Mennen Laba brought out a golden sword, covered in bright blue and red flames, from a sheath hidden under his lava cloak. Moving faster than sound, he swung the sword through Rangiku and Riko. The fell instantly dead. "NO!" Kaiba fought harder to avenge the deaths of two of his students, who fell at the hands of his former teacher. Nagisa ran to Mennen and reached out, screaming, "POISON DEATH" A hyper beam of purple spray landed on him. As it did, he started to ooze to the ground, slowly and painfully melting. Unfortunately, not a drop landed on his head, where Kaiba-sensei had told them, was the only way he could be killed. Arekusandā, still in his demonic form of a two-tailed fox, jumped on Mennen's head but as he did, one of the two tails he possessed hit the poison on the still-melting body. He tore the head to shreds with his fangs and claws. Arek slowly lost his demonic form - no longer able to use it due to the poison that went inside him. As he did, he looked to Nagisa - the only surviving ninja. Nagisa had no wounds, so he easily ran to Arek. Arek yelped in pain and fell to the ground. "AREK!!!" the blue-haired boy screamed. Running still, Nagisa realized it was too late and he was not fast enough to get to Arek's side to give him the antidote. Arek watched Nagisa as he ran towards him, but suddenly a bright light flashed before him engulfing him, pulling him in, it seemed. So just as Nagisa got to Arek, he left the world of the living.
