I try contacting the pizza delivery place again for like the sixth time but they don't pick up. What kind of pizza delivery cancels an order? I'm sure they're still open at this time, it's only four o'clock pm.
I dial the number again, furiously tapping the numbers shown on my screen. I put my phone up to my ear and wait impatiently.
"Hello this is Hot Cold Hot Pizza!"
"Hi, I'm very damn mad you-"
"We are sorry to say we're not open right now. Thank you for calling."
"What the hell?" I yell in annoyance, throwing my phone at the other couch.
Stupid damn pizza place. I just wanted my pizza and hot cheetos I ordered. This is the worst service ever. I blame Priscilla for recommending this place to me.
I fall back onto my couch and rest my eyes. I place my hands over top each other on my stomach. I bring myself to calm down because this is so pointless.
I'm probably going to get a knock at the door from one of my neighbors wondering what the screaming is about.
As if on cue, there's a knock at my door. I stand up from the couch and walk over lazily to the door. I unlock it and pull it open.
"Oh?" I say a little confused, seeing a lady from a different pizza delivery place, standing in front of me with a pizza box and hot cheetos.
"Hey, are you Selena?" she asks with a grin like a perky cheerleader has. I nod my head slowly. "Here's your order," she says handing me the pizza box with the hot cheetos bag on top of it.
"I didn't order from you guys?" I say taking the box while shaking my head in confusion.
"I think it was your boyfriend? Justin." She smiles at me. "Have a good day," she says.
Before she begins to leave, I stop her. "Wait! What about the money?" I ask.
"It's paid." Then she turns on her heels and leaves.
I shut the door and place the food on my coffee table. I grab my phone off the couch I threw it on and pull up to my messages with Justin.
