Scene Setting/Mood
It has been four months and a half a month since Justin and Selena began dating. Justin has been treating her with tender love and care. Nothing but sweetness. Until things changed.
Selena noticed how busy Justin is. He hasn't always been busy but maybe after the second month of dating, that's where it all happened.
They used to have late three o'clock am talks on the phone or on video chat. They used to text from morning rise to night fall. They used to do all these little things through technology since they're miles apart.
Lately Selena has been thinking. Thinking of how their relationship doesn't work out. With Justin busy all he ever does is text her small cute messages. She's tired of that. She feels as if the love is a meant to be failure from the start.
Her friends tell her it's nothing and things will get better.
But Selena can't see that.
She's done nothing but overthink and cry herself to sleep at night the last couple of weeks. She's broken but Justin has no idea.
Say she's crazy or say she's dumb over this. But all Selena wants is to feel loved and not get blindsided.
She's barely hanging on to the relationship as if she's on the edge of a cliff. The sad part is she believes and she knows Justin won't catch her fall.
As for Justin. Justin knows how Selena feels but briefly. They only talked about it once but his habit didn't change.
He's been busy because he's working hard. He's getting all the modeling job opportunities he's offered or suggested around Los Angeles.
He's not doing it to keep himself busy, to explore with his career, but — like mostly anyone else — for the money.
Justin hasn't explained to Selena why he's been busy. He plans to though, soon.
Justin has been very careful with not fooling around or doing anything to hurt Selena's heart. He knows if he fucks up, he'll probably lose her forever.
With Selena secretly and slowly breaking and Justin being busy without a clue on how Selena feels... their relationship might break or better might persevere. It's a test and it's definitely a game.
