KERIN POV:
Some days you can't win. It's a cold, February day and I'm walking back to my apartment that I share with my mother. Her name is Meredith and she's the only real friend I have ever had. You see, I don't have any siblings and my father left us when I was 6. It's been rough with my mother having to find different jobs constantly but she's always been there for me. Except I know she can't help me today. The sky starts to get darker and I pull out my gloves from my book bag along with my keys. My mother's not home right now because she's pulling a night shift over at the ice cream parlor two blocks down. When I get inside, I turn the tv on and watch a clip of the four most gorgeous boys I have ever seen. The Beatles, my favorite group. They're coming to our city tonight and performing on the Ed Sullivan show tomorrow. I can't wait except I know I'll be sitting home watching it while all of my friends are going to see them live. It isn't fair at all and I'm not gonna sit here and let it happen. Besides, the theater is only a couple blocks away. Even if I can get a glimpse of them I'll be the happiest girl in New York City. That's it, I'm gonna go there tomorrow. I run to my closet and pull out a mint green dress and my favorite black boots and set them by my desk. Tomorrow I'm going to make my dreams come true.
JOHN POV:
"Come on mates, we're here!"
I groggily open my eyes, even though it's pitch black outside. "Shut it Paul, and let me go back to sleep," I hear Ringo shout. I get up slowly from my seat on the plane and look over to George who hasn't moved an inch. I lightly kick his leg and he jolts up quickly. "Rise and Shine, it's a beautiful new day!", I mutter sarcastically. I can see a couple of flashes out of the window and it makes me feel a little better. We've finally made it to America. After all we've been through...I mean...I can't help but smile. "Alright lads, let's do this then," I say.
One of the captains on the plane opens up the hatch and the flashes get brighter. Screams erupt through the air, all wanting to see a glimpse of 'the fab four'. Even though Paul probably thinks it's all for him. "Yahoo let's go!" I shout and grab one of my suitcases and proceed down the stairs of the plane. I can't wait for tomorrow.
