A shiver crawled down your body as you lay in your bed at home.

You mind was working overtime as a nightmare, more like memory clouded your dream world.

"Look what we have here." A dark voice spoke out, the tone dull and semi bored.

A woman's whimper could be heard as another man tighten his fist in her hair.

"N-no, leave us alone!" She pleaded out as she tried to cower upon herself but the hand in her hair kept her standing on her tip toes.

"Now, why would I do that?" The voice took on a dangerous edge as he walked toward the shaking woman.

"Please! Please! We have nothing!" She almost sobbed as tears started to make their way down her face.

"Oh, but there's you." A smirked crossed his face as he raised a hand and cupped her cheek.

"How long I have waited for you." His thumb brushed away her tears and she let out a whimper trying to back away into the man behind her.

He snarled and brought his hand back and bringing it forward, slapping her.

"Auntie..." a small child like voice called as she walked down the stairs.

"Auntie?" She called again.

The smirk on the man's face became deadly.

"What's this?" He whispered, his hand at his side as he turned around and walked through the doorway to the hall.

The woman before him holding her cheek as her eyes widened, about to yell the man behind her but a hand over her mouth. Even more tears spilled from her eyes.

"Little one what are you doing up so late?" He said, as he came to stand infront of the child. His voice taking on a gentleness as he peered down at the child no older than 7.

"Mister? Who are you?" She said tilting her head coming to a stop a few arms away.

"Just a friend of your aunt's. Tell me, why aren't you in bed?" He asked again as crouched down to her level.

"I had a bad dream." She said and her eyes watered.

"Oh? Come here I'll take you to your aunt and you can tell us all about it." He said as he reached out his arms to pick her up motioning her forward.

She walked to him and he did just that, holding her to him as he walked back into the room.

The child's eyes widened and she tried to get out of the man's arms.

There in the family room of her aunt's house stood three other men. One stood behind her aunt, one hand over her mouth and the other wrapped in her hair. One stood in front of the front door his hands on a gun. The last stood in front of the only window in the room his hands on a riffle.

"Auntie!" The child cried out as she wiggled about.

"No, stay still if you don't want us to hurt your aunt." He said, his voice still gentle.

The child immediately stop moving as her eyes watered but a tear did not fall.

"Now why don't you tell me your name?" He said this as he turned the child's face towards him.

She bit her bottom lip and she held in her tears.

"(Y/n)"

*beep* *beep* *beep*

The sound of your alarm clock woke you. Your eyes opening as tears fell freely.

You sat up and scrubbed your face with your hands.

You took a few deep breaths to calm your racing heart.

"Why did I have to dream of that of all things?" You questioned yourself.

You bit your bottom lip before heading to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

"(Y/n)! Breakfast is ready!" Your mother called from downstairs as you walked out the bathroom fully dressed.

You looked pretty good to just have had a bad memory resurface and play out like during a dream.

"Coming mom!" You said as you grabbed your shoes and ran down stairs to the kitchen.

Sitting in your seat you quickly said your thanks before digging in.

A knock sounded on the door and your mom went to go answer it.

"Oh hello Aster, are you here to pick up (Y/n)?" She asked.

You turned, just finishing your food, sliding your shoes on then depositing your plate in the sink.

"Yes mam, is she ready?" He asked.

"Give-" she didn't get to finish as you magically popped up next her, giving a faint smile.

"Ready." You said as you took in Bunny, he looked like he was put through hell and back like he was stressed.

He gave you a pained grin as he reached out for your hand.

"Come on let's go." His voice was even strained.

He looked back to your mom and nodded to her in thanks before pulling you away towards his car. You faintly heard your mother closed the door behind you.

He opened the passenger door for you before walking over to the other side and letting himself in. When he sat down her let out a tired sigh and closed his eyes for a moment letting his head back.

"We have to break up."
