"Rise and shine, my beautiful girl." Camila awoke to the husky sound of her girlfriend's voice.

It couldn't've been morning yet and Camila knew it- her room was still pitch black which meant the sun wasn't up and she felt like she had only been asleep for an hour at most, "five more minutes?" She asked in a childlike voice and using her best puppy dog face, her eyes still closed.

"No, sweets, it's 4:00 am and the plane leaves at 7:00, we have to leave for the airport now," Lauren whispered to the girl, gently stroking her arm.

Camila was right, she had only been sleeping for about an hour; the girl hadn't been able to fall asleep until about 2:30 because she was still wide awake and replaying the night's events in her head. "But it's so early," the younger girl whined, pulling a pillow over her face.

Of course, Lauren knew it wouldn't be easy to rouse her girlfriend at such an early hour, so she had some ideas of how to get her up. The older girl hummed, "would you like me to carry you, then, my love?" Lauren asked the sleepy girl, removing the pillow from her face. All Camila did in response was languidly nod her head, making the older girl chuckle and shake her head, "okay, I'll carry you down to the car, my sleepy princess." Camila smiled at all the cute nicknames, however, she refused to open her eyes at such an early hour, not even to gaze into her favorite pair of green eyes.

Lauren swiftly scooped the girl up and carefully made her way to the staircase, being sure not to be loud and wake Sofia, who was still fast asleep. Once she got to the stairs, she abruptly stopped, "you know, there's a fee for me carrying you, love."

Camila furrowed her brows, "and what would that be?" She asked in a sleepy voice.

Lauren put the girl down for a second, "open your eyes, I want to see my favorite pair of eyes," she whispered softly, still being quiet in order to keep the rest of the house asleep.

Though Camila was annoyed that she was suddenly standing, a task she didn't think she needed to complete, she couldn't help but smile widely at her girlfriend's adorably innocent request. Camila sighed and slowly let her eyes flutter open to meet Lauren's emerald gaze, she was slightly taken aback at how bright and intense they were, even at four in the morning.

"Wow," Camila let out, "you know, I've been staring into these eyes for the past four days, and I still have the same reaction today that I had the first time I ever saw them."

Lauren chuckled at the memory of that first night when Dinah introduced the two, "me too, my love."

"That's good, it'd be a shame to lose the fire in a relationship after four days," Camila chuckled, moving her hands to Lauren's hips.

"I don't think I'll ever lose that, my girl, not even after forty years when we're old and wrinkly," Lauren mumbled, pulling the girl in closer to place their lips together.

Camila pulled back and cupped Lauren's cheek, "that's good because I don't think I'll ever get tired of kissing these lips when we're old and wrinkly, either," Camila ran her thumb gently over her bottom lip as she spoke.

"Alright, it's four fifteen already, I think we should be getting down to the car, yeah?" Lauren rubbed the younger girl's back.

"Oh, alright," Camila groaned, "I'd much rather stay here and kiss you all day," she pouted.

"In time, my girl, we'll be in a hotel in Houston, and you can do whatever you want with me there," Lauren whispered to the girl, picking her back up.

"Well, what are we waiting for, then? Houston is expecting us!" Camila pointed down the staircase, urging the older girl to get her to the car as soon as possible.
