I was glad that Peeta was right next to me. I fell and he caught me. My mind was blank. The words were stuck in my head. They've got Gale and your mother. They are hurting them. Wait, the Capitol was destroyed. I know that there are still evil lurking in the shadows. Do they have enough power to overthrow the rebels. Probably not.

"Katniss," Peetas not asking a question or expecting me to answer.

I stare into those blue eyes. They are truly magnificent. I close my eyes tightly. Why is this happening to me? The bad people still have two of my loved ones.

"Katniss, please don't go," Peetas tone is demanding.

He knows I want to go rescue them. They are going to be hijacked! I can't go through that again. Peeta pulls me into a hug.

"Don't do anything rash sweetheart," Haymitch says.

"Why?" I ask.

Peeta pulls me closer.

"Don't leave me," he whispers.

"Why?" I demand.

The birds outside the window are singing. But no reply from Haymitch.

"There is," he doesn't finish.

"What?" I'm yelling.

Why is he keeping stuff from me?!

"A death thereat," he finishes.

I run. I just kept running and running until I come to the fence. I slipped through and ran all the way to the lake. I was way out of breath by the time I was there. I sat for what seemed like ages by the time I was breathing somewhat regularly. No, no. They can't do this. My mom. Gale. They will do what they did with Peeta. They will make them hate me. They only one who will care about me in Peeta. Oh I wish he was here with me. To make me ok. I'm crying until I can't cry anymore. I'm throwing things. I'm yelling. I'm out of control. I take In a ragged breath and fall to my knees. Night has fallen. I'm crying until my body's run out of water. I bury my face in my shirt. I'm so cold. I curl up in a ball and pass out.

I wake up and I'm so cold. I'm on a hard surface. I open my eyes. Im in the little house by the lake. I shut my eyes tightly again as the memory flood my mind. I get up and immediately fall back down. I'm still weak from yesterday. My head throbs and I'm still a little bit blurred.

"Katniss!?" It's Peeta.

I can't yell I just can't. He stands in the door way.

"What happened?! Your bleeding," he rushes to my side.

I can't talk. But a tear slides down my cheek. He picks me up and carries me all the miles back home.
