She Left

Disheartened by the failures of life
Haunted by fears, pressurized by peers
My writhing heart longed to be released
From the chains of fears that enslaved
That had me curl in a corner
Ultimately she came, like a princess
From a far, far land, with elegance
Her eyes pretty as a graceful fish
Her hair defeating even the best of silks
Her smile, a lethal weapon cast upon me
I wished to be her prince,
I dreamed to be her knight in shining armour
To bestow her all the joy she wished for
To guard her from the evilest of Satan
And to never let her smile vanish
Until from this earth i would fade.
But all that did fade were my wishes
Her thoughts that were panacea
My love for her never would vanish
Like my heart that did
After she took it away with her
Ripping it apart into a million pieces.

I am no good at love poems. Just tried something..Thank you for reading :)
