Yes it was Tobi, you weren't joking.
The loud, obnoxious, swirly masked akatsuki member. His childish ways, always brought a smile to your face and warmed your heart. He was always so cheerful, and it amazed you. You remember the first time you met him.

Flashback//: 3 years ago

Deidara was currently showing you around the base since you were a new member of the Akatauki. You had been scared, and hadn't said a word to anyone,..

Your POV:

   "Alright un so this is the living room and kitchen yeah", Deidara said looking at you expectantly. All you could do was nod shyly. "You don't talk much, hmm?" All you could do was give him a nervous look. "We aren't all that scary are we un?" He asked you. And you just stood there quietly. Until all of a sudden a huge crash was heard and a laughing Tobi came barreling through the doors to the kitchen. "Deidara-senpai! Tobi has been looking for you!! Tobi is a good boy!" He said screaming and tackle hugged a flailing Deidara to the ground. "Ah Tobi! Get the hell off me un!" Deidara managed to say as he tried to break free of Tobi's grasp. All the while you were standing there trying to figure out what was going on, and trying not to laugh at the situation unfolding in front of you. "Tobi wanted to know something important!!!" Tobi said he said as he pushed his mask up against Deidara's face like it was a life or death situation. At this point you were curious at what it was he needed to ask, it seemed important considering his desperation. "Fine un what do you want? But why couldn't you of asked someone else? Cant you see I'm in the middle of showing (_name_) around the base hmm?" Deidara huffed irritatedly as he attempted to shove Tobi off of him. At the mention of your name Tobi's head instantly snapped up and stared at you curiously. As Deidara shoved him off of him he fell to the floor with a thud and you couldn't  help but feel bad for him so you instantly offered your hand out to help him up. Deidara seemed surprised at your actions, and Tobi tilted his head to the side and stared at you awkwardly causing your cheeks to turn a light pink color. Unexpectedly Tobi reached out and poked one of your cheeks making you squeak which made him laugh and jump up and down with joy. "Deidara- senpai look! (_name_)''s cheeks turn colors! The same color as,... Wait,.." Tobi rummaged through his akatsuki cloak and pulled out a lolipop which was a strikingly similar color to the shade of your cheeks. "This! See! It's the same! Tobi is a good boy~" he sang as he skipped around you happily. Suddenly he stopped. "(_name_)? Is Tobi a good boy?" Tobi looks up at you hopefully. Well you couldn't see his eyes but you could hear the hope in his voice. "Tobi she doesn't talk, so don.." "Yes" you replied barely audible as you found your voice. "W-what un?" Deidara asked. "I said yes" you spoke a little louder and looked at Tobi. "Tobi is a good boy" Tobi was ecstatic "yayyyyyyyyy!!!" He yelled happily. "Ugh un, I thought you didn't talk,.. Eh anyways Tobi what did you want to know?" Deidara questioned. Tobi suddenly stopped running around and scratched his head,.. "Oh Tobi doesn't know now, Tobi forgot!" Causing Deidara to face palm. And you to erupt into a fit of laughter. "Oh now you make noise yeah?"

A little while later:

After having no success of finding the swirly masked knucklehead that you were looking for you abandoned you perch on the roof and decided to wander the base in search of something to do.

Present time/ how it happened///:

You were walking through the base bored out of your mind, until you walked into the living room. A bunch of the other members were already there so you decided to join them. You took a seat next to Konan. "Oh hey (_name_)! Glad you are here! All the guys here have been arguing and it's gotten quite annoying" she complained. "What have they been arguing about?" You asked curiously. "Uhm, well recently it's who has had the most erm,. Sex" Konan managed to say as she turned red. "Oh,..."you trailed off turning red yourself. "This is why I'm glad I'm not the only female in the akatsuki anymore because we agree that their arguments are stupid and we don't even have to say anything." She said and turned to watch them arguing about something else.
