Orochimaru(Keep)

I'm going to apologize now, if he seems out of character. I tried! I'm getting back into writing so please forgive me. I didn't even remember where I was going with this story, had it started but never finished it lol, so please try not to be too critical 😂

Orochimaru, yes some way, some how that snake of a man managed to slither his way into your heart. Perhaps it be from the way his golden orbs showed immediate interest in you, from the time you had arrived, that you didn't know. It was silent and unbeknownst to the others of course but you noticed the moment he first set his fiery gaze upon you. That was a moment you would never forget.

Flashback:

It was your first day as an Akatsuki member, and you were familiarizing yourself with the bases layout.
Pein had given you free roam for the day, to get you used to things before sending you on a mission. You began in the kitchen, silently roaming through the living area, and then headed outside. Once outside you looked around, and your eyes landed on a a rather large tree, centered in the middle of the court yard. Suddenly having the urge to climb it, you walked toward it. Staring up and it's ever expanding mass, you deemed it a challenge worthy of being tackled. So up you went, strategically finding hand and foot holds, pushing you higher into the tree limbs. Looking down you realized you hadn't even made it half way, but we're still up pretty high. Pushing yourself to go higher, you went further reaching, your hand up and into another hole. You froze. Something had wrapped itself around your hand, pulling your hand back to look, a rather green snake stared back at you, hissing loudly. Being caught off guard, you let out a yelp and let go of the tree. You felt yourself falling, and just closed your eyes, awaiting impact, but it never came. You had landed on something, or rather in someone's arms with a thud. Opening your eyes, you found yourself mesmerized. Staring at you with a rather confused look on his face, was a man with porcelain like skin. Long black hair, and the most intriguing thing of all, were his eyes, so snake like and dangerous. He carefully put you down without saying a word, then reached down and grabbed your arm. You noticed the green snake was still firmly wrapped around your hand. He reached his hand toward yours and instantly the snake wrapped itself around his forearm. "You really should be more careful, you could've injured someoneee" he said as he looked at you continuing. "Pein ssaid we had a new recruit, however I didn't expeccct it to be sssomeone as clumsssy as you". Opening your mouth to argue, you found you were at a loss for words, still winded from the fall. Instead you just crossed your arms. Watching you closely he tilted his head to the side. "What's the matttter, sssnake got your toungeee?" He said teasingly and flicking out his long tongue toward you. You're eyes got wide and were even more intrigued. "No" you managed to get out. "Just a bit winded, who are you anyways?" You asked highly interested. He chuckled "I am Orochimaru. And you areee?" My name is (y/n).

Flashback end

And from that day on you were caught. Everything about this man had you curious.

Present:

You had a mission today, you were partnered up with Sasori and Orochimaru. Packing the essentials and some spare clothes, you headed out the door to wait for you teammates. It was a simple mission, bounties to restock the organizations money supply. Shouldn't be gone longer then 3 days if all went well. Standing at the entrance/exit to the base, you crossed your arms and leaned against a wall, awaiting your teammates. After a few minutes of boredom, Orochimaru slithered his way into view. You could see a slight smirk on his face. "Readyyy?" He asked, and you looked at him confused. "Where's Sasori?" You questioned. "Oh, hesss not coming, got a little caught up, in hissss puppetsss" he replied in a sort of his, closing his eyes in a type of grin. "And Pein is okay with this?" You asked again. His smirk got larger. "Of coursssse" he replied as he started walking out of the base. He was already about 10 feet away from you when it finally clicked in that you were to follow. You darted after him and finally caught up to him. Matching his stride, you snuck side ways glances at him. After awhile of walking you found yourselves in a clearing. You decided to break the silence. "Who are we even after again?" You questioned. "Silencccee" he hushed you. Watching him intently, and caught off guard, he stuck his tongue out into the air, as if he was tasting it. You found yourself thinking no so decent things and shook your head to clear it. "Yesss, not far now" he whispered, almost to himself it seemed. He looked at you, with his piercing slit eyes. They seemed to almost hypnotize you for a moment, as the thoughts you had earlier seemed to come flooding back with a vengeance. You could feel the pit of your stomach tighten up, and cursed yourself mentally for being so weak in this matter. You couldn't hold his gaze and shyly looked away. "Come, it won'ttt be long noww" he hissed flicking his tongue out, and just barely touching you cheek. You felt them heat up fiercely. He turned again and started walking. He can't know, can he? What he's doing to me? He began a big argument with yourself in your head and just followed closely behind him.
