Chapter 7:
With my hand outstretched,
I was desperately grasping for the shadowsbeneath.
My mind was trapped in a moment I'd never forget
and my eyes stuck on red stained white. The screeching sounds of the metallic can
replayed themselves into my mindover and over again,
making me think, making me wonder
why this all happened to me that day.I looked for an answer I knew I'd never
ever receive. And before all that—twisted thoughts.
That's all I've been left with.Twisted thoughts and a bleak reality.
Chapter 8:
Down, on my knees, I watched my hands in horror,
unable to escape the moment.
Caught.
I was caught.
I was caught by a net I would've never even fathomed.
Long dark hair, dark blue eyes.
A sweet school girl in a bridal uniform.
Her image haunted me over and over again.
I was cornered by an event born between the walls of a sickly frail mind.
I was stuck in a place I would have never imagined to be.
I was tricked by a shabbily thought trapand I fell right into it.
Chapter 9:
Horrified voices rose around me, all at once recalling—"She jumped!" or "Murderer!"—cruelly.
Yelling,
shouting,
demanding—justice to be made.
Between a murder and a suicide,
they've already formed their opinions.
It's all my fault.
Curled up in a ball, a few steps away from the edge,
I looked horrified at the ground.
Shock and fear washed over me
in waves of dismay.
What will I do now?
There was really no escape.
Everyone watched me cautiously from between the stone-carved pillars.
Dim lights colored the atmosphere
and I couldn't help but wonder:
Could they maybe be afraid?
