I do not own anything! Please enjoy!! And feel free to leave me reviews!! Oh just for the sake of saying this, a lot of this will be italized because most of this story will be memories. So if you get confused, just go with it and assume it's a flashback. I'll try not to make it confusing.

"Draco!" I screamed running through the castle avoiding the spells flying past me. "Draco!" I screamed again. As I ran up the hallway, I found him laying on the ground. "Draco," I gasped throwing myself beside my older brother. I shook him lightly and he opened his eyes. "Oh thank God. Come on." I said helping him get up. "Are you okay?" I asked once we were standing.

"Fine." He sounded almost embarrassed that I asked. "Are you?"

"I'm fine." I answered. "Come on. Harry went to find The Dark Lord." I grabbed his hand and dragged him toward the front of the castle. We walked through the doors and onto the steps with the other students that led to the courtyard. The first thing I noticed was Hagrid carrying a limp body. The next thing I noticed was Hogwarts. It was torn to pieces. I only knew we were in the courtyard because I knew the building well. The next thing I noticed was Voldemort and his snake. The last thing I noticed was my mum and dad. Oh how I wanted to run up and hug them. But I got distracted.

"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort bellowed.

"No! NO!" A voice screamed. I saw Ginny Weasly lunge forward and then her father grabbing her.

"Silence!" Voldemort cried. "Stupid girl." Then he smiled an evil grin. "Harry Potter is dead! From this day forth, you put your faith in me." Then he turned to his remaining Death Eaters. "Harry Potter is dead!" They all laughed along with him. "And now is the time to declare yourself! Come forward and join us...or die." I groaned silently and squeezed Draco's hand tighter. He looked at me and gave my hand a squeeze back as if to tell me everything would be okay.

"Draco." A familar voice called softly. "Ana." I looked up and saw my father telling us to come to him. I didn't move. I couldn't. My legs wouldn't go down the steps.

"Draco. Ana. Come." Mum's voice was soft and reenergized me somehow. Still feeling a little weak, I let Draco lead me down the stairs. When he was near Voldemort he let go. I could feel all eyes on us.

"Well done Draco. Well done." Voldemort said to my brother giving him an awkward hug. When they let go, it was my turn. "Anastasia." He said my name all wrong. I walked up to him and allowed him to hug me. It was a heartless hug. I could feel the hate linger into my body and through my viens into my blood. When he let go, I walked over to my family. Mum wrapped her arms around me as if she knew how I felt. Father gave me an encouraging pat.

                                           --------------------------------------------

"Pinky!" Mum called. Pinky appeared in a second. "I need warm blankets and hot tea for my children." Pinky nodded and vanished with another snap. Draco and I were led to the couches in our living room. "Its all over." She kept saying. "No more evil in this house." Draco started to cry and I sat there shivering. Mum sat down between us and talked softly to Draco. I'm not sure what she was saying, but whatever it was, it helped because his crying slowed. I leaned into my mother and put my head on her shoulder. She looked at me and wrapped her arm around my cold and sore body. Soon, Pinky showed up with blankets and two cups of tea. "Thank you, Pinky." She as as she grabbed the tea then the blankets from the small house elf's arms. I took one cup from her hands and drank it slowly. The heat traveled down my throat down my body and relaxed me. Mum covered me with a blanket and kissed me on the forehead. From the corner of my eye, I saw something move. I jumped, nearly dropping the cup of tea. It was Dad. He came over  to me and knelt down.

"You were so strong, my love. I am so proud of you." He wiped some hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ear. Most of the time I hated when he did that and would undo it, but this time, I let him. "You are so beautiful."

"Dad," I said trying not to cry. "you're okay."

"Of course I am." He said.

"I'm sorry I didn't help you when-"

"Shh." He said putting his finger on my mouth. "You were so brave out there." He got up and went over to Draco. "I'm so sorry, Draco. I have not been a good father to you."

"I love you, Dad." Draco said hugging him. "I'm sorry about everything."

"Mum," I whispered so only she would hear. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine, Sweetie." She said hugging me. "My family is okay and that is all that matters."

The next hour or so, we just stayed like that. We haven't had the chance to actually be family in the longest time. Finally, I got up.

"I need the bathroom." I said walking away. I reached the dinning area and stopped. Tears came to my eyes. I slid down the nearest wall and cried. The room was filled with blood and dead people. My whole body was shaking. We were murderers.

"Ana!" I heard Dad's voice and heard running. Then I felt someone wrap their arms around me. Dad held me for who knows how long while I mourned for the dead people in our house. Half of them I didn't even know, or even really cared for, but they were dead. And they were in my house. "Tergeo house." Dad said. I felt his arm move as he used his wand. I looked up and saw the dinning area had been cleaned. It looked like the house I knew. It probably wouldn't ever be the same, but it was a start.

                                                     --------------------------------------------

That night, after dinner, Draco and I were sitting on the couch.

"Ana," He said after a moment of silence. I looked up at him. "I really do love you. I couldn't imagine my life without you. I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way."

"Draco," I said. "Thank you." He gave me a hug and kissed the top of my head.

"I'm so glad you're okay."

"I could say the same about you." I said. When we let go, I looked up to see Mum and Dad. They looked at each other and smiled. Then back at us.

"He's defeated. Harry killed him."

"For good?" I asked.

"For good, Sweetie. He's never coming back." Mum said. I jumped up and gave her a hug. She laughed.

"How do you know?"

"An owl."

"What else did the letter say?"

"Nothing important." Dad said. Now, what do you say we change things up a bit and have some fancy dessert?" I looked at Draco, who was still on the couch. "Draco, how about you decide what we have tonight."

"Can we have Tiramisu?" Draco asked.

"Can we?" I asked Mum.

"Only under one condition! You guys come help me make it. And no magic allowed."

"We're doing something the muggle way?" I asked. Mum nodded.

"Why not?" She smiled. The rest of the night we were in the kitchen. I don't think I've ever been in our kitchen. I don't even think Mum has ever been in there. It was a nice change. After we ate the amazing cake, we all went to bed. As I climbed into my own bed, the horrors of the past day came into my head. I tried to get them to go away. I tossed and turned till I gave up and decided to sleep with my parents. I got out of my own bed and crept down the hall. I heard Mum and Dad talking. It was mainly Dad saying it would all be okay. And...Mum was crying. It broke my heart to hear her cry. I didn't want to distrub them so I crept down the hall to Draco's room. He was laying in bed. When he saw me, he sat up.

"Couldn't sleep either?" He asked. I shook my head.

"I saw too much today." I answered as I went over to his bed. He moved aside so I could crawl in with him.

"You can stay here for the night. Maybe if I have someone else here, I'll be able to sleep as well." I smiled as I sank down in the covers and put my head on the pillow. It would all be okay. I was sure of it.
