The meeting was getting closer. I ran into Draco's room.
"Dray, what's going to happen?" I asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Do you realize that Dad made The Dark Lord angry?"
"Yes, what does that have to do with us?"
"You know how he is. He takes his anger out on other people! What if he kills us?"
"He won't kill us." Draco said.
"How do you know?" I asked.
"Because he just wouldn't."
"Do you think he'd give us the mark?" I asked as I walked out of his room.
"Doubtful, He wouldn't want young kids as Death Eaters." He followed me down the stairs and into the dinning room area. It was already filled with half of the Death Eaters. I felt a chill run down my spine. The air felt thick and sickening. There was a gloomy presence. I ran out and ran into someone. It was Severus.
"Sorry." I said walking backgrounds. "Do you know where my mum is?"
"No idea." He said raising his eyebrows. "Have you tried the Living Room?"
"No. Thank you." I answered and slowly walked around him. As soon as I got past him, I ran into the Living Room. Mum was on the couch looking like she was deep in thought.
"Mum!" I walked over to her. "What's wrong?"
"I'm just thinking." She smiled. "Are you okay?"
"Do you-"
"Draco! Anastasia!" A shrill voice called. I looked up. It was my Aunt Bellatrix. I looked at Mum.
"Bella, can we have a moment?" Mum asked Bella.
"The meeting is about to start, Cissy. And these two will be a necessary part of it." She said pointing to Draco and I. I looked at Mum then back at Bella.
"What does that mean?" I asked her.
"Oh! You don't know? You two are getting marked! How special is that?" I gulped. Marked? Like...the dark mark? I would rather die then get marked by Lord Voldemort. I suddenly felt dizzy. I sat down on the couch slowly.
"I can't..." I breathed out as I felt two sets of arms steady me. One of Draco's and one was Mum's. I kept hearing Draco mumbling in my ear to breathe.
"They're too young!" I heard Mum say.
"Not for the Dark Lord. They're the perfect age! We love young ones! And I think he has a mission for Draco! That makes everything more exciting!" Bella squeaked. "Come on! He will be here soon." I heard Bella's high pitched giggle slowly fade away. I imagined her skipping down the hallway.
"Come on, Ana." Mum said grabbing my hand.
"Mum, can't you hide me?" I asked. "I don't want to go."
"Mum, can't you stop him from marking her? I'll take two if I have to. She doesn't deserve to be punished."
"And neither do you, Draco."
"Mum, I can handle this. I don't know if she can."
"Mum, I'm scared." I whispered.
"I know. I am too. But it'll all be okay. I promise." Mum lent out her hand again. I grabbed it and allowed her to pull me up. Draco waited for me then followed Mum and I into the Dinning Room. All the Death Eaters were already seated waiting for their master. They stared at us as we entered. Some were whispering to each other and pointing at Draco and I. There were five seats left. Four beside Bellatrix and one on the very end for The Dark Lord. Mum sat down beside Bella. I sat down beside her and Draco beside me. One seat was left for Dad. He was in Azkaban. I scanned the room and met eyes with Professor Snape. He was my mentor while at school. I actually spent most of my nights in his office doing homework. Not only because it was quiet but also because he was a very smart man. He was well rounded and always knew the answers. I gave him a weak smile. I heard some shuffling then Mum grabbed my hand from underneath the table. I looked up and saw The Dark Lord. He took his seat.
