She wished she didn't got hungry.
She wished she hadn't craved for the food they-- she always ate.
She wished she hadn't gone to that blasted restaurant.
"Alex..."
"No, Matt."
"Al, Logan is outside again..."
"Tell him I'm not here."
"He followed you here, Alex."
"Then tell him I went to sleep."
"Alex, he's been trying to talk to you for months now. Besides, it's been almost a year..."
"I'm tired, Matthew. Please, just..."
Matthew sighed.
She didn't want to bring her younger brother into this but she had no choice. She didn't want to go out there. She didn't want to experience the sudden feeling of wanting to be on his arms again not an hour ago. The sudden feeling of wanting those hands holding hers again; wanting lips on hers again.
As if the past ten months never happened.
"I'll tell him you're busy," Matthew said, sighing again.
She smiled at him, gratefully yet tiredly. "Thanks, Matt."
Matthew patted her shoulders gently then left the kitchen, and went outside to the porch.
