I see a little boy like me
And he can't see.
I see him walking carefully
And bumping into things.
I see him stumbling
And laughing.
He falls and gets up and I feel proud.
Even though I'm an outsider.
I see a little girl like me
And she's free.
I see her dancing and singing
And ringing with glee.
I see her breathing freely
And clearly.
She makes me smile,
Defeated her cancer.
I see a little boy and girl
Meeting for the first time.
I see him smile and her blush.
And I know that they both will live happily.
Together.
