(Mako x Reader)

Your Pov

          Yesterday was probably the best day of my life. Maybe its the part that the fire ferrets won the match or Mako kissed me on the forehead. Im blushing so badly since i woke up this morning. I just realized thats its near 12 am as i checked my watch that my father gave me, Mako just invited me to a sushi place so im waiting in the gym inside the arena. He said its just us, Bolin will stay here in the gym training.

          "Hey (y/n)" Mako greeted. He just popped out in front of me, i almost jumped from his presence.

           "Hhhey" i hesitated to speak. My mind was full of thoughts about last night. That kiss placed on my forehead. I placed my hand on my forehead and sighed. Its gonna be alright, its just a kiss i thought to myself.
   
            "Hey (y/n) about the kiss" Mako tapped my forehead. "I wanna talk about it when we're at the sushi place alright?" He detailed. I nodded to his suggestion. We both walked out the gym. As we left the arena Mako was talking about himself, not in a selfish way. He told me that he lives in the arena cuz he has no where else to live. Republic City is a place where they can change and live a better life than their childhood. I felt real bad for him, but im proud of him. He made the right decision for Bolin and himself. I noticed that he always wear that red silky scarf around his neck as we where walking in the sidewalks.

            "Mako, why do you wear that scarf all the time?" I asked as politely as i can. "Its my dad's scarf, its all that he left for me" he placed his pale hands onto the red scarf.

             "Bolin is my only family left, i dont want to lose him. Even if it cost my life." He detailed. What he said was deep.

              "(Y/n) i know its all of a sudden but this will sound, really stupid. But, if im gone. Please watch over Bolin for me alright." He smiled. "Mako of course, i know he means a lot. I promise i'll watch over him" i agreed.

                Mako wrapped his hands around my waist and bended over to me a little as we're walking. "Thanks" he whispered. "Oh is here we are" he added. We both stopped looking at the sign. One of Republic City's finest restaurants, but our noodle shop surpassed this sushi place. HAHAHA. We both entered inside the restaurant, it was a little crowded. We sat down at the available seats near the window. I looked down at our table, i saw an organized menu. The dishes were actually affordable but i wasnt really that hungry. Maybe I can just order a set of mixed sushi, sushis on a plate.i wonder what Mako is gonna order.

                "Mako have you decided what you're gonna order?" I asked. "Maybe a set of mixed sushi." He said. Thats the exact same order that i want to eat. "Same here" i said. Mako raised his hand seeking a waiter to pass by and it worked. "Hello my i take your order?" He asked.
  
                 As I waited for the waiter to write down the sets i wanted to talk to Mako about the... "Oh so (y/n) about the kiss" Mako rubbed his neck. That was fast, he's already finished ordering. "You know its just weird i barely know you, but i like you." He confessed. I blushed pink, but Mako blished darker. He was nervous as if he was hiding something.

                  "So (y/n) will you, you know..." He hesitated to speak. I knew what he wanted to ask. Will you be my girlfriend.

                   "Yeah, i will" i rubbed my neck as my blush grew darker. Mako grinned wider than before. Well the problem is i barely knew him, but deep down i love him. There is something special in him that i like the most. I dont know what, its like a flaming light inside of him.

"Your order" the waiter gently placed the plages in front of us. Looks good.

After the date~

                  "So (y/n) I'll be at the noodle shop after our game tomorrow, Its like at 0830. Just order us 2 big bowls, ok?" Mako said as we headed out. I nodded then He softly slid his hand onto my giving it a gentle hold. "Are you a bender?" He asked. "Im actually a fire bender." I told him. "So before our big game wanna train with me?" He asked. "Of course! It'll be our second date" i said excitedly. Mako giggled as he held his scarf.
