Trio

The following morning Piper, Anarchy, and Peregrine sat on the edge of the Wave building's roof. Anarchy was trying to find more out about Peregrine as Piper just stared out over the town watching Sol's streak shoot back and forth across the sky. Anarchy tapped him on the shoulder and he jumped a little.

"I've concluded that a Peregrine is actually a type of hawk."

Piper rolled his eyes and laughed, " Still don't know how you didn't know that."

Peregrine looked out at Sol then looked to Piper, "I can summon him if you want? He does this thing where I can ask him to help me with stuff and he can summon me to go to him when he needs me." He pulled his glove down to show a black sun tattoo on his wrist that matched the symbol on Sol's costume. The area around it reddened and Peregrine winced, "ow, like now. I'll be back guys." He spread his wings and Anarchy grabbed his arm.

"Hey, wait. Can we come?"

Peregrine paused a moment and thought, "Yeah. Come on, he wouldn't mind a second extra hand with whatever it is."

Peregrine took off, Anarchy hopped from roof to roof as she followed Peregrine, and Piper groaned as slid down the roof and blew into a small ocarina which summoned a bunch of mice that carried him after them.

Peregrine and Anarchy arrived in an abandoned shipping yard and immediately came face to face with a giant reptile monster. Peregrine released claws from his hands as Anarchy took up a fighting stance. Sol stood behind them and nodded to Peregrine. Peregrine flew up to the top of a shipping crane and perched waiting for a signal. Piper finally arrived and stood next to Sol. The reptile monster roared and charged Sol, Piper, and Anarchy. Anarchy jumped up high into the sky and Sol waved his hands which summoned a huge wall of solid dark matter in front of them. The beast slammed into the wall and stumbled backwards. Anarchy came down and slammed the monster's head into the ground. Piper played a few notes and the a huge mass of mice accumulated around him quickly. Sol squeaked a little as he dropped the wall and hovered off above the ground. Piper played more notes on his ocarina and the mice flipped the monster on its back. Peregrine swooped in and cut the beast's stomach. Sol flew up higher and waved his hands again a large sword formed in the air. The sword came down severed the head from the body.

The sword faded away and Sol took a long breath. He turned to everyone as he landed on the ground, "that was guy could of done some damage if he got to the city." Both Peregrine and Anarchy nodded and laughed a little.

Piper frowned as the mice ran off in different directions, " I guess so. He might of been nice though? Also, sorry for being a little late."

Sol shrugged, "Well he seemed pretty destructive to me. And you really didn't even need to be here, you wouldn't of known if Peregrine wasn't with you."

Piper shrugs with a sigh, "I don't know about that. We probably would of found of soon enough."

"Either  way, I have to get back to doing my thing. Glad to hear your names got cleared, by the way." He quickly shoots off into the sky and disappears.

Peregrine smiles and giggles a little, "isn't he so cool!?"

Piper shrugs and nods, "yeah, I guess he's a little cool."

Anarchy playfully pushes Peregrine, "jeez, you're such a Sol fan girl."

Peregrine rolls his eyes, "I'm totally not. I bet if you knew him like I did you'd feel the same way."

Anarchy shrugs, "I'll just take you're word for it." For a few moments, it's quiet. Anarchy decides to break the silence, "So, where on earth does he even have to go?"

Peregrine shrugs, "probably his hideout where he works on some stuff."

Piper raises an eyebrow, " like what?"

"It's mostly-" He pauses and looks at the pair, "Actually, I don't really know."

Anarchy glances at Piper, then looks back at Peregrine. "What do you mean you don't know...? I thought you were buddy buddy with him?"

"I am! He's just secretive about the stuff he works on. It's not a big deal" Peregrine says defensively.

Anarchy starts walking, "well, I want to find out. You coming with me guys?" Piper nods and immediately follows.

Peregrine stands there and frowns, "we shouldn't go poking around there. What if hes in there? Imagine how mad he'd be!"

Anarchy shrugs, "so be it, but it's still not going to stop me."

Piper frowns, "Peregrine might have a point. How would you feel if he went poking through your house?"

Anarchy pauses, "hm, I guess I'd be pretty mad..."

"Exactly. Anyway, Sol will probably need you two tomorrow for something anyway. You can ask him to see then. Just meet him on the building you guys sit on around noon alright?"

Piper and Anarchy nod together.
